My star rating is not really reflective of the ups and downs we had at this visit. This was NOT the 1st time we have been here. In fact, we chose it because we never have issues. Now I am not sure I will return. It was not busy as there were plenty of open tables and plenty of staff walking around. Was greeted with zero enthusiasm. Then sat and sat. We sat and waited for almost 10 minutes before anyone ever came to take our drink order. She must have been the sister of the greeter since the server had about the same level of enthusiasm. Monotone, quiet, disinterested, annoyed. Just a peach of a server, for sure! We ordered apps - Fried Green Beans & Buffalo Chicken dip. Beans - yummy! Dip, eh. Nothing to write home about. Too dry, chicken too big - not shredded enough, barely any buffalo spiciness. And it was served with stale corn tortilla chips - that's the wrong vessel, fresh or not. Moving on - burgers. Once they finally arrived....and I mean it was almost dinner time by the time it arrived - it had issues. My wife's burger was missing one of the condiments, no biggie. Except that the $1.00 worth of mushrooms they added was pathetic. Maybe one entire bottom mushroom worth. Pathetic. I had items that I did not want. So basically we just asked for take-home containers and left with most of our food. Don't get me wrong - the food was good, except for buffalo dip. The service was terrible and not even an offer to take anything off the bill for the continued issues. Just disappointed for sure.
This was my third time here. The first two times, the experience was great. However, this last time was not a good experience.
There were not many guests and yet it still took a long time for our server to acknowledge or greet us.
When we did finally get to order, it took quite a while for the appetizers to arrive. The food itself was very good.
When our meal arrived, we discovered some issues with the food. One burger had things on them we asked not to be. The other was a build it burger, where you get charged extra for anything you add to the burger and I received 4 mushrooms. The cook was OK with the fact that I was going to get charged $1 for 4 slices of mushrooms. I was also missing an additional item.
So we sent the food back.
When we received the food, again an item, that costs me extra for the built it burger, was again not on the burger. So the waitress had to bring it separately.
We also had to ask more than once for the check. During a busy period, I am more understanding of such things. But it was slow and we already had several issues we encountered.
The meal itself was very good.
Upon leaving, two hosts were by the front door having a personal conversation and couldn't be bothered saying goodbye to us or any other guests.
So, all in all, we paid $72 for a bad dining experience.
I have not decided yet if I will give the place another go.
They were not prepared for the Memorial Day business and were short staffed.
Ruben is 🔥 but don’t order the cheesesteak 😵
The food is 3star. I had the fried green beans and some spinach artichoke dip. The dip could've used a bit of salt. The service wasn't great. I asked for a canned sparkling water and it was served in the can. Had to ask for a glass and wait for it. Then, she left so I had to wait till she came back and ask for a straw. Could've been better. I thought the appetizers were generous portions.
My brothers and I took our Dad out here for dinner for his 87th birthday! He has Alzheimer’s and several of us live out of state so this was a BIG deal for him. After the meal, I asked our server if there was any way they could help get the people around us to sing Happy Birthday to him. She asked someone (bartenders? managers) and came back saying they couldn’t help us. She even knew he was a veteran. It made me sad. It would’ve made his year. DO BETTER next time! For our veterans and our elderly. May you all be so blessed to make it to 87!
Good Friday at lunch was packed! Lot of people waiting for tables, and the restaurant itself is so tightly packed that it's very difficult to even walk around tables (like if you need to go to the restroom or to leave). It is nice to see that they get so much business! I will say the food was delicious! I got the bourbon chicken melt and a side salad and it was absolutely delicious and humongous! Our waitress (Monique) had a little bit of difficulty. We had no napkins or silverware to eat our food with, and had to get somebody else to bring us some, which he did immediately. She stopped at the table later to ask if we needed anything, and evidently forgot that we said what we needed because we never saw her again. Finally I flagged her down when I saw her at another table near us, to ask again, and she then was able to take care of us. She was very friendly but very forgetful. But in her defense it was very busy in there, so she had a lot of customers. I don't live in Granville, but I would go back again, but just not during a busy time. It's so crowded, that's it is just uncomfortable. We did get to sit right in front of the front windows which completely open up and that was awesome!
I ordered the deep fried meatloaf sandwich, when our meals came out 30 minutes later it was just a meatloaf sandwich. I told the server that it was not deep fried just a meatloaf sandwich with cheese on top. The server said that they were redoing the menus so that’s how it is cooked now, they slice it and heat it on the grill! Was looking forward to the sandwich, very disappointing

Great space in a cool town. Food was good, the service was good. Solid beer tap list some local but also some harder to get like Maine Brewing on tap. Little patio out front w giant windows that fold to one side to all the outside in. Perfect for summer or that fall day.

Great food options, but this is a popular place for locals so service can become slow at times as well as long waits to be seated

I haven't been to this restaurant in a handful of years, but tried it again tonight. Big mistake. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time.
Waited 30 min for a waitress to come to our table, no beer list, no silverware, no straws. The food was so salty it was inedible, and the pizza tasted like it had been frozen. This place has gone so incredibly downhill it was shocking. What a shame.

Great place. It's definitely worth the drive out from Columbus. Loved that I could have a beef burger or chicken. They have a great craft beer selection as well.
