Ran by a very passionate owner who is knowledgeable about tea and tea ceremonies. Lovely cafe with a beautiful tranquil vibe. Matcha was absolutely delicious. A hidden gem truly.

Would've loved to sit down and have some traditional tea here, but we were only in-town for the eclipse. The blue and latte is perfectly balanced; subtle yet sweet. My brother who typically doesn't like tea actually enjoyed the blue!

Parking: Accessible parking on the side of the building. There is some street parking as well. The line to Maid-Rite made it difficult to navigate the road and we had to make a u-turn to access the parking lot.

Just got special drinks for eclipse to go, not much flavor but will definitely try again to have tea there. No food but you can bring your own. It would be nice if they could collaborate with the local bakery to have something to go with tea.

My first visit to experience this, and wow is my reaction to the decor, it has what seems to be traditional floor seating, and tables with chairs. What seems to be a Kung Fu dojo is in the back, and while people were training, it was not loud and did not interrupt any conversations. They sell tea by the bag (to go), and also serve it in a bit traditional way, with you pouring the hot water (really hot!) over your tea into a small bowl with a strainer, then a small cup to drink from served on an elegant board type tray. They refill the hot water as much as you need, and the list is extensive, and not expensive! If they had servers in kimono it would not be out of place. Yet you are in Ohio, so….The traffic noice is minimal, and we sat right at the window to the busy street.
