This is the worst hothead location Ive been to. The portions are very strict. They weigh each component on a scale. You have to pay for double meat just to get the amount you are accustomed to from other locations. The staff is not friendly at all, borderline rude. I do not recommend. This review is based on many visits, not a one-off fluke.
**UPDATE** Every review, someone posts to apologize and and to appreciate customers bringing issues to their attention. Yet, not a single thing changes. You will get the SAME poor experience no matter what day or time you go to THIS particular hothead location. If you actually take the time to go through your reviews, ( I DID ) you will notice a STARK decline in the past 2 years. If you truly do appreciate customer feedback, take notice. We are helping you identify the problem. Ask yourself.. What changed in the past 2 years? What new policies were implemented in the past 2 years? Did someone new take over management of the store in the past 2 years? I remember visiting this store 3 years ago and the staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic. WHAT CHANGED?

My service started of welcome nice into I started to place my order I got a bowl and a burrito. Meat was steak the rice was real slim in the bowl I ask for more and I got both beans in my bowl . Then my burrito was getting made the serving for the rice was real small portions and the meat was slim. I ate my bowl first my rice was dry and my beans tasted like they been sitting out to long. This time my food didn’t taste fresh and it was made really slim . I had to go back to work so I couldn’t come back to say anything. I was just going to come back in tomorrow and talk to the manger this visit I was not a happy person.

I ordered online. I called to inform them that every time I order online they never put any sauce at all in my bowl. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude. I started off the conversation. The fact that I did not want a refund that I was only calling to let them know that this keeps happening so they can correct it because eating a bowl full of dry rice and meat and a couple vegetables isn't appetizing. She was extremely rude. I'll never go back to this location. I will just go on to Troy and from all the other reviews I've seen it seems like lots of other people will too

We ordered on the App, but wanted to purchase a full size bottle of sauce. There was no one at the register and the man was just standing there, yet refused to sell us a bottle unless we went and got in the long line.... again no one was ready to check out and he was standing there! Not to mention they were already 15 min behind on our order! He was rude & lazy, dark haired, thin guy with beard.
Today was a great group of employees working. Tacos made perfect and everyone was friendly.

10/11/25 first thing we didn’t know if they was open. Their overhead sign was not on and we pulled up there and they already had the chairs and everything on the tables mopping the floors. They were in cleaning up for the night at 8:30 when they’re open till 10, so saying that they were not pleased that we came in to get food And you could tell that from their attitude, especially the little blank with the beard rude is an understatement. He had to get the meat and rice out of a standup heater box because they had already wrapped it all up like I said at 8:30 at night when they’re open till 10 I don’t know who owns this restaurant. I’m sure it’s franchised, but it is gone downhill. We have been patronizing this place since they opened and the food portions just get smaller and smaller. They’re weighing the cheese, the lettuce and didn’t even fill the scoop with the meat so we asked for double meat. Which of course cost $3.50 more The amount of cheese and lettuce that they put on the bowls was laughable they might as well have counted each cheese, strand, and each lettuce strand. We will never patronize this hot head again. There’s a chipotle right down the street that we’ve never been to, but by God, we’re gonna try them. For $39 I would expect more for what you actually receive now portion wise!!
