Waited in the long line as normal, got to the order window and nobody came to take my order. After the car at the pickup window leaves and nobody still hasn’t come to the order window, I move to the pickup window, someone comes to it right away and tells me that I cannot order there and I need to come inside or go back in line. Said I’m not and offered my card for my so that I can order. They tell again to move on or they would call the police. At this point, I’m frustrated and said go ahead, so she gets on her phone and claims she dialed the police. So I move on hungry without any food! Yes I went somewhere else and eat. I probably will be boycotting Maid Rite now. To bad because I like the food, but they don’t like to do business!!

Sat in line for 15 minutes only 3 cars in front of us at 745 and they close the doors when we finally get up to the window order and another car behind us also waiting. The car in front of us was served so they lost 4 orders. Horrible and lived in Darke county my whole life. Doubt I will back to Maid Rite. Guess need a new system to cut off the line if you are not going to serve those waiting in line.

I live 60 miles North West in Indiana - Heard Local People Here Talk About the Famous Maid-Rite Sandwich- Took a Drive and They Were Right …!! Made-Rite - Nice Loose Meat Sandwiches were Bomb - Iconic History , Actually Had 3 , and it was all I could eat - Definitely Will take a Nice Bike Ride There this

Overrated restaurant, to say the least. Mediocre food and service at best. If you're not in line by 7pm, you will more than likely not make it to the window by the cut-off time of 8pm. Mind you, it doesn't matter if you've waited in line for 45 minutes to an hour, NO EXCEPTIONS! The food is equivalent to fast food without the fast.
