Food tasted very good but came out cold after a 45 minute wait. Our waitress barely ever came back. When I complained about cold food, I got offered a 10% discount. It was 8pm, so I ate it didn’t want to wait forever for another meal. All four of our table had cold food, cold mac and cheese on my chicken and waffles and my wife’s. Cold wings for my sister in law and cold burger for my brother in law. Overall, food tasted good but would not recommend due to bad service and experience.

Ordered the new shrimp scampi and got 5 shrimp for $18.00. When they are standard size shrimp seems a little off. The ranch dressing that is always delicious was not the same as normal either. My wife salad was below average as well with almost no chicken. This is a shame we eat from here at least twice a month. Not sure we will be back for a while

It's a nice place with a really good atmosphere to relax. I'd love to give a higher rating on the food because it truly was delicious.....the part I could eat. Ordered a 10oz sirloin at "market price", cooked to medium. The market price was $36 for just the steak. Too bad more than half of it was pure fat and gristle. Our waitress agreed it was a bad cut and informed the owner who did take 50% off of the steak(only). The rest of our food, shrimp scampi, salad, spinach and artichoke dip(in a toasted bread bowl) and maple bacon brussel sprouts were all yummy. The cook never should have let that steak leave the kitchen, especially at those prices. We will probably give them another try in the future.

Ordered the special of shrimp, scallops and fish. Terrible. The fried potatoes that came with it were warm at best on the outside and cool and undercooked on the inside. Sent those back...came back overcooked, dark and just plain unappetizing to look at. The shrimp and scallops were fried too dark (old oil?) and unrecognizable as to what was what. The fish filet was thin and dark brown in color.....I asked the waiter for something different so he suggested the Fish & chips. When that came out the fish was dark and hard....refused that too. By this point I just asked for the "Shepards Pie" choice to take home. I was refunded for both fish meals. Got home, Shepards pie has so much grease at the bottom and the meat was overcooked, dark and had a foul taste that I could not eat it. A very disappointing visit to what used to be a favorite restaurant. I will say the salad was fresh and delicious as well as the crab dip that we had as an appetizer. Also the waiter was very gracious and and he gave us great service. The manager was not present for me to speak to.

Came in with reservations and waited 30+ minutes for a table anyway, meanwhile we watched people come in after us being seated promptly. We checked in at 6:50pm and we were not seated until 7:20-7:30. I think the host running the stand forgot about us because she walked over several minutes into our wait to ask us if we had reservations even though we were checked in already. Our server was great, but I can see us going somewhere else next time especially considering the wait even with a reservation and the price point of our meals.

Had a spontaneous stop at Merchant House tonight- and they are not one of my cc clients. Our server, Tiffani was great, our food was fantastic and instead of my normal Guiness I ordered a "sour, red lager" that was ideal for me. Pam had the brisket Philly and loved it. I had a hot Nashville honey sandwich and was blown away. Neither of us are big fry folks, but the garlic, parmesan waffle fries were top shelf.
