Why Why Why would you guys get rid of fresh cut fries!! The new fries are not doing it AT ALL! The fresh cut fries are a big reason I come in for a quick lunch. Fries are a significant part of a persons meal. I will significantly reduce the amount of time I come in for lunch. The meats are still good and will continue to purchase for get togethers at home.

I recently had a terrible experience with City BBQ. I placed a mobile order and called at 11:01 AM to inform them that someone else would be picking up the order in a different car. When the designated person arrived at the curbside pickup area, they had to wait for 20 minutes with kids in the car, making it impossible for them to get out.
Despite my earlier call to notify the restaurant about the change, the staff seemed completely unaware. After multiple failed attempts to get through, we finally reached someone who rudely stated that the car was different from the one originally specified. I explained that this was why I had called earlier, but the staff member offered no apology or assistance. Additionally, the staff was rude to the individual picking up the order, which was completely unacceptable.
I would like to add that if the staff had apologized and said something like, "Sorry about that, we'll get the food right out," I wouldn’t be writing this review. However, they took no accountability for their mistake. This lack of communication and poor customer service was extremely frustrating, especially given the circumstances. I won't be returning to City BBQ anytime soon.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and our experience with the service was mixed. I let the lady know that it was our first te there, but she didn't offer any assistance with helping us with our order. I asked questions, and she didn't answer them, nor did she ask someone else to get the answer.
We didn't know they had fountain drinks, and when I ordered, I said what we wanted, and she gave us a bottle instead of the fountain drink. When we were walking to find a table, I saw that they had fountain drinks and ask a man about it, explaining that we didn't want the bottle drink. He was kind enough to help us and get everything corrected.
The person that someone meets when entering any facility should be someone who is knowledgeable and kind. The lady tonight had neither of these qualities.

I should hit them with that 1-star but I want to be fair. I love their BBQ. However, many times we are told a couple of hours before closing time that they are out of brisket. But the last time I went they also were out of ribs! How is a BBQ place out of the two most popular meats 2+ hours prior to closing?

The food was OK your average barbecue. Part of the meal included (4) buns to make sandwiches. I noticed the buns were moldy someone wipe the mold off of them and still gave us those. That's disgusting, for the price I would prefer to have non-moldy food.

We frequent this location but since I started eating more health conscious I only eat out once a week, & this location is usually amazing as I have posted in the past. But last night was a huge let down biggest being they no longer serve fresh hand cut fries that they are famous for in my household. My kids were heartbroken & me as well, this was the major reason we choose city barbecue this specific night. I think it was just a off night, the smoked wings I was trying for the first time were the worst wings I ever had salty as can be & we ordered the largest amount, like 18😔 & only ate 6 witch I never do, I can handle 10 myself tried to cure the taste by drenching in barbeque but it didn't work. Chili was uneddibly salty & it's normally a 5 star chili but they did rectify this by giving me a cake that was fortunately the same great taste. Our brisket was ok but not amazing like normal. I'm sincerely hoping this was just a bad day, we all do have them & not city barbecue neglecting the high standards and quality food that they have earned & become so known for in our community. That was a lot of money I spent which I don't mind if at least half the meal was decent.... Pull it back together guys, at least make right with the FRIES!!!!
Visited this place today for the first time . Tried the brisket ,turkey , mac&cheese ,greens . 2+2 combo . It was cool I enjoyed it . It was pretty quiet around 2 pm. Not sure if they make their own sauce but I tried the original one I believe. It was pretty good. I’m a bona fide no sauce person at all. I don’t eat sauces ever but that complemented the smoked meats very well

This is a UberEats order experience. I am going to start off with this. I got one sauce cup and that is insulting for a BBQ joint. One star on that alone.
But it gets worse, the hush puppies were made it dirty grease and they just had a lingering after taste, I could not get past eating 2. The cornbread pudding sounds amazing, I adore this sort of cornbread and it just lacked on all fronts. It lacked flavor on all fronts, no saltiness, no sweetness, nothing.
Brisket was great, I ordered the 3 meat meal, getting double pork which looked like one portion to go with my little baby cup of BBQ. I feel ripped off really, I do not recommend this place at all.
