The restaurant was clean and inviting, a typical IHOP. Before placing my order I informed the waitress of my pork nut and seafood allergy and we discussed it extensively because I wanted a chicken sandwich that was breaded. That sometimes means they deep fry it and if they also have pork or seafood deep fried items, they may deep fry in the same oil, thus causing me trouble. After determining I couldn’t have anything deep fried including the French fries or onion rings I went with side salad and a turkey melt and told her I needed the turkey bacon due to my allergy to pork. I got the sandwich and it looked accurate and started eating. It was indeed delicious until I began getting sick, and I knew I had some type of contamination. Upon inquiry she told me the bacon and turkey bacon are all fried together unless we request it to be cooked in a freshly cleaned area away from other foods. I assumed talking about my allergy at length was enough. So, if you have food allergies, please be aware you must not only tell them of the allergy and do your due diligence in ordering, but also tell them step by step in how to NOT cross contaminate. If we return to this one I will be sure to ask to have my entire order cooked separately from any pork product and ask if they’d like me to do the cooking hahah

Worst service i have ever had at an ihop. Waited over an hour for food. Waitress didn't put the orders in right and then it took forever for someone to cash us out. Will not return

Server was below par. Non communicative,
Body posture and overall interaction said i don’t want to be here. Order was taken however requests for our food was ignored.; husband need for sugar free syrup they were out. Most syrups at a pancake house. Eggs were scrambled hard, husbands barely legal and pancakes could not melt butter so yep cold. My creamer was taken away as ii was drinking coffee and ticket brought aa if to say don’t ask for anything else.
Of course we has to aak for our correct ticket as to ticket was placed
first time in the grove port location needless to say i would have rather went to waffle house at least expectancy of service but good hot food could balance each other out

On a Monday after 4:00 AM, it seemed as though there was only 1 waitress and a chef. The food definitely needed another chef. The restaurant was empty while we were there. Weird atmosphere for a well known restaurant. I must add. The waitress was very professional and courteous to us despite the environment.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendliness was good from the waitress, even though there were no crayons available. I blame IHOP on this matter. Children have been considered through the company, great. But all of the supplies for the deal should be in place.

My visit today was just ok. Food wasn't spectacular nor the service. It wasn't awful though. My steak was overcooked and we didn't see our waitress very often. It wasn't very busy, so it was a peaceful meal. It was good but nothing to call mom about!
