Finally got to try their brunch!!! We got the cheese curds and they’re amazing! They come with poblano ranch and it’s very delicious. I got the horchata French toast and the after party taco. I’m not going to lie. The French toast was a little underwhelming from the looks of it but it was actually really good. Never thought I would describe French toast as melting in your mouth but that’s what I experienced. The After party taco is one of my favorites that they’ve ever had. It’s the Nashville Hot Chicken, bacon, maple syrup on an Eggo waffle. My husband got the taco and the Super Trooper breakfast burrito. It has eggs, refried beans, chorizo, breakfast potatoes, monterey jack cheese, chipotle maple aioli. He subbed the pinto beans with black beans; he did not care for the burrito.

Went in for lunch and took home one of the two chimichangas that came with the meal. When I was eating my leftovers, I found a short, black hair inside.

My son and I were so hungry and randomly decided to stop here. BEST Mexican food I have ever had! If I was eating the manager & server, I’d give them 20 stars! My son was running around and loved it there as well.

Second attempt to try this restaurant. First time was on the busiest day of the week for this type of place - Taco Tuesday. There ended up being a 45 minute wait. I don’t wait as a rule so that’s on me. Good for them though. Last night I was “lucky” to get at table for my party. The place was packed and not even a Tuesday. My waiter promptly greeted us taking drink orders. Also introducing themselves were biting flys. The flies unlike the wait staff made frequent check ins. Our waiter disappeared then reappeared right next to our table where he ran into an old friend. They spent 15 minutes catching up while we waited for our drinks to arrive and asked if we needed more time to decide on our food order. We all pretended like everything was ok and proceeded to order. My food order was not what delivered. I’m easy going so thought I’d just try some thing I may not have otherwise ordered. It was the carnitas taco that delivered. I picked it up and immediately the soft shell corn tortilla fell apart. The carnitas were like a soup so they saturated the tortilla. Good save though was they had a fork on the table so could eat the taco that way. The street corn seemed to have been in a boiling pot all day so it was soggy. From there it just continued to go downhill. I really wanted this place to work out. Unfortunately not the case for me. I’m sure there are plenty of stories that are not like mine, however, there are likely more like mine. Oh, also something to note. The entrance on the main street side is not actually an entrance. The actual entrance is a door opposite the library and is marked “entrance” however it’s the entrance to a different shop. You wouldn’t know unless you tired every possible door. Confusing.

First and last time at this location. Our waitress and food were great- however they lack in customer service and management skills.

I’m not a local so I was here with a large group of people in town for a softball tournament. My husband got a bowl of chips (which is a chip/salsa bar by the front door.) Unfortunately, when I got to the bottom of the bowl there was a large dead bug. Vomit! When I brought this to the waitresses attention, she made a face of disgust, took the bowl and walked off. That’s it. Never heard another word about it. I’ve never worked in the food industry, so I don’t know the protocol. But as far as customer service, pathetic! I just would have thought a manager would have come to say something. Yet, I was charged for all my food and extra gratuity for my party. Paying for my food is fine, but like I said just some type of apology from a manager would have been the least they could do.

I've been to Local Cantina in Grove City twice now and both times I've left so happy, impressed, and full of delicious tacos.
The Taco Tuesday deals are great! ¡Feliz Martes de Tacos! 🌮
There is a small bar where you go up any time you want and grab your own bowls of chips and saucers of salsa... UNLIMITED (like Emperor Palpatine thought his power was).
Trust me, three tacos plus chips are quite filling.
Hostesses greeted me as soon as I walked in and the waitresses are extremely attentive.
It's a nice, cozy place, well laid out with plenty of space at and around the tables.
The three tacos I ordered last week were Barbacoa, Mac Attack, and Hong Kong Phooey. All of them were delicious! I also ordered a house Margarita because it was Happy Hour.
Local may be a chain, but you can't go wrong with these tacos.
