My husband and I just got burgers and Mac n cheese from Lovies. He got the Love Shack and I got the Flirt. Very tasty, we especially liked the sauce. The Mac n cheese was definitely some yummy comfort food. Looking forward to trying the wings and banana pudding. I will be recommending you guys to my friends and family. Price was great too.
If you're looking for incredible comfort food, Lovies is the place to be! From the moment I walked in, I was met with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. We tried every item on the menu for dinner tonight. Let me just say 10/10. The wings had the most perfect crisp on the outside and were juicy on the inside, the greens had so much flavor, & the mac n cheese is exactly what you would want from a comforting home cooked meal. We had to get a burger and fries too, of course. Absolutely delish & stacked with all the goodies. Lovies is a great little find inside a pub. The food is prepared with love and everything has so much flavor. The southern fried chicken and ribs are excellent. The wings are juicy, golden, flavorful, and fried to perfection, often called the best ever, served with the special Lovie's sauce and house made ranch. The burger with the house sauce is delicious. Sides are outstanding, including amazing collard greens, creamy mac and cheese (the best ever), homemade potato salad, crispy onion rings, and fried pickles with homemade blue cheese. The cornbread tastes like someone's grandma made it. For dessert, the banana pudding is off the charts delicious and addicting, considered the best ever. It is a family business with nice service, and customers are definite return visitors.
