Coffee was so-so. It took 35 minutes to make two coffees and a bagel with cream cheese. They forgot the bagel and i ended up waiting another 10 minutes while they made it, not really worth the wait, which is unfortunate since this was my first time there and I was hoping for a new coffee shop that was locally owned. The workers were friendly, but the girl working the pastries moved at a snails pace.

I love this beautiful coffee shop. The coffee is wonderful and the atmosphere is…as its name…transcendent! It is a wonderful place to meet old and new friends. Such a truly positive representation of the Grove City community. I live in Kansas and walk down every time I’m in town! It’s a great place to visit for great coffee and good conversation! I can’t wait for the next time I get to go!

Transcend Coffee Shop is an absolute gem and a testament to what a community-driven business should be. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that is both inviting and inspiring. The space strikes the perfect balance between cozy and modern, with a warmth that mirrors the heart of its visionary owner.

The coffee itself is a revelation—each cup a masterful blend of bold flavors and rich aromas that clearly result from the meticulous sourcing of the finest beans. But what truly sets Transcend apart is the ethos of its owner, who operates the business with unwavering integrity and a commitment to excellence. Their dedication to sustainability is evident in every aspect of the shop, from ethically sourced beans to eco-friendly packaging.

Moreover, the owner’s passion for fostering community shines through in their unwavering support for local artisans and events. They go above and beyond to ensure their business reflects values of fairness, inclusivity, and kindness. Whether it’s paying coffee farmers above-market prices, hosting community workshops, or creating a welcoming space for everyone, their principles are woven into every detail of Transcend Coffee Shop.

Visiting Transcend isn’t just about grabbing coffee—it’s about experiencing a business that believes in making the world better, one cup at a time. This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a movement, and the owner is a true inspiration. Transcend Coffee Shop is an absolute must-visit for anyone who values quality, integrity, and community.

My husband and I just moved from downtown Columbus, so we were excited to check out a local coffee shop as we enjoy supporting small businesses. The coffee was fine, but as we were leaving we noticed something.
Next to the front door is a yellow sticker that represents what's called 'medical-freedom', which uses outdated, medical misinformation to support the choice to not vaccinate. I called the owner, Megan, and she confirmed that this business represents this ideology. I am immunocompromised, and the idea of someone preparing food without inoculation against covid, measles, etc. is concerning.
This is a strange way to represent your business--we will not be back, and if anyone asks we will be happy to let them know where not to spend their money.

They only had dark roast and it was just ok. The atmosphere was great. They open it up on Friday nights for our church to do worship there

Cutest coffee shop, but front entrance isn’t wheelchair or stroller friendly and the back doesn’t indicate it’s the coffee shop to enter just has hours. The latte lacked flavor (caramel, butterscotch and vanilla just tasted like milk. 🫠

Parking: Public parking in rear of storefront by amphitheater.

Wheelchair accessibility: Must use rear entrance - it’s unmarked but building is painted red brick as of August 2024.

The staff were really friendly and the shop itself is really cozy and cute. We had a frozen hot chocolate, an Almond Joy, and a Cinnaroll and they were all delicious.

Popular place, be ok with waiting a bit for your drinks. Typical laid back coffee shop atmosphere. The gals working could use some help.
