Yum! Now this is a sandwich! Finally made it in after driving by all the time and saying "Hey we need to try them out sometime!" We came in for a late lunch over the weekend and were greeted with a warm welcome. I ordered the turkey club and it was fresh and delicious! The place is large with plenty of seating and street parking in front. I am looking forward to visit again and try something new!

Tried this restaurant for the first time last weekend. The food was mediocre, and the restaurant had a myriad of different food safety violations. The employee at the handoff area gave me my form after grabbing it by the tines with his bare hands. Multiple workers had long hair that wasn't tied up and no hair nets. I had a hair in my sandwich and the ice dispenser was broken, so they just left a bin of ice in the sink by the fountain. Gross all-around. I had the impression that the food would at least seem made from scratch, but it all seemed to be made from frozen.

Went there for the first time yesterday no greeting just guy standing behind the register. I asked for a slice of corn bread and could I have some butter he yells over to the guy do we have any butter? No I said OK well then I’ll pass on the corn bread. so can I have a kids grilled cheese he’s like no very rudely, I said excuse me, he goes loudly, I don’t make the rules around here but you have to be under 13 and my friend says it’s for her grandson over there. Finally got the food. Don’t get me wrong - My grandson and my friend said it was delicious. We went out into the alcove to sit then when we got done there was a trashcan it was turned around, so we just put the trash in there and the older guy comes out yells at us. This isn’t supposed to be used and that’s why it’s up against the wall and slams it up against the wall. Never ever will return. Co-owner came in and we spoke with him about it and he was humiliated offered to give us our money back and we passed i said read the customer service comments there is none. Well I should say there is customer service comments - It’s just very rude and uncalled for — never will return.

I went there for the first time to meet a friend for lunch. Ordered a bowl of chili with side of cheese. Was told to get chili from soup bar. After paying I sat down to eat and realized that I didn't have my side of cheese. I went back to the soup bar an got a small condiment cup of cheese. A gentleman behind the counter yelled at me in front of other customers and told me nothing in the restaurant was free. I explained that I purchased chili with a side of cheese and he told me to stand in line and get it weighed. I stood in line and paid another 40 cents for my cheese. The service was poor and the staff was rude. It was my first and last time going there.
Just got two sandwiches from there for the first time. Delicious lunch. Also, the man working the register AND making the sandwiches was awesome. It was also very clean and I liked all the ads for other small businesses around. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.

Wanted to try this place after reading the reviews. Popped in on a late Saturday afternoon and will definitely go back . We ordered the Reuben, the deli club and baked potato salad. All were super tasty. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms ( which says a lot about a place) cozy little seating area in the back and quite a selection of food items, sides and drinks. We told the gentleman who waited on us that we had just moved close by and were trying the restaurants in Hamilton. He was very welcoming. He is very proud of his city and we have been quite impressed by the transformation. FYI… no soup or chili on the weekends. ?
