I would like to give a shout out to Big Bul’s roadhouse in Ross Ohio .
We had a 50th birthday celebration for my wife there Saturday night and couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. First and foremost, the staff has a can-do attitude, and did an amazing job, catering, and taking care of all of our needs during the party.
All of our guest, were very complementary of the quality and taste of the dinner and appetizers not to mention the alcoholic beverages 😂
We had the event in the party room outback, and it was super comfortable and made for awesome casual experience.
If anyone is looking for a venue to host a large event, we highly recommend Big Buls Roadhouse.
Can’t say enough how terrific the staff handled our party!

Came for lunch with my boyfriend early in the afternoon, around 2-3 PM. Traffic for the restaurant was light, yet it still took ages for the two of us to get drinks, our orders taken, appetizer (loaded potato skins) served, and there were many unruly children running (anywhere between 7-11 YO) around who were not being minded by their parents. They were also playing at the lottery machine… not a good look.
When we finally got our food after far too long of a wait for the amount of customers they had, my boyfriend’s burger and my steak were both overcooked. We each asked for some variation of rare, and instead got well-done. Asked for a new steak and got one that was cooked properly. They did not charge us for their blunder, which was good. But all the food tasted like they were afraid to season it properly and I was sorely disappointed considering how packed I’ve always seen the place at peak hours.
Service would have been better had everything— and I mean everything— not taken so needlessly long. Will not be coming back. Prices were OK but in my opinion, not reasonable for the quality of food served and the overall experience.

Our server Salim or Celine was extremely rude,not only did she ignore us for Baby Shower parties (congrats to the families and parents) but she never checked on us,then....when my steak came out as she was instructed,I am dairy/gluten free,there was butter on my steak,and when I said something and after waiting 45 minutes to get our food and being ignored didnt help,she wanted to bring out a woman whom claimed to have cooked my steak,and in front of several other patrons tried to call me out that she didn't put any butter on my steak after I clearly tasted it and my throat began getting scratchy,I told her no I want it taken from the bill and I will eat at home,then....our server continues to ignore us after requesting the check...we had to find her at the bar,she attempted to ignore my husband further,as he patiently waited she then decided to give him the check as she sighed,because it must have been a great inconvenience to her,we did not tip,we would have and generously,but why would we tip to be ignored and treated poorly???? We have been here 2 times prior and everyone was friendly and helpful and they were tipped well We are not happy about this

We have passed this place several times in the past couple of years headed to Fairfield in the morning. GPS always routed us a different way home so yesterday was the day. Decided to try to retrace going home and made it back. Wasn’t sure what to expect but found a real gem. The decor was definitely roadhouse style, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Now for the real test, we ordered the rib-eye hers med. rare, mine rare, both steaks came as ordered with a baked potato. We paid a little extra for a side salad and it was well worth the extra cost. We also ordered Big Bulls Chips and 3 beers,all for $66.00. The food was very good steaks had good flavor and juicy. Will definitely go back.

I stopped here for dinner when passing by food was fantastic (highly recommend the country fried steak) Ari was a great server fun to talk to and did a fantastic job. I sat at the bar after I ate and the bartender Andrea was on point and held great conversations.

We had 6 in our party, Madison was our server, she was a very nice young lady our food took a little long to come out 4 of us had sandwiches 1- had a dinner and 1 -got an appetizer for lunch, but Madison was attentive to our table with drinks & making sure we all had what we needed, everyone seemed satisfied with there meal I had the hot ham and cheese on pretzel bun with honey mustard and onion rings it was very good I would recommend eating here if you haven't already 😀
I ordered the cod dinner and the breading needs seasoning. Vinegar nor hot sauce could save the taste. I also ordered the liver and onions to take home and it was cooked perfectly, but again, it lacked seasoning. Add some garlic powder, onion powder, and a little seasoning salt and it would be perfect. And our waitress Madison was great!

Server wasn’t terrible food was ok… this was my experience When my family and I arrived, we were told to seat ourselves. At no point were we informed that there was a cover charge for sitting outside, nor that it was cash only. We had already been seated outside for over an hour when the MOD, Bailey, finally mentioned this. By that point, we had already ordered an appetizer, which did not arrive for more than an hour.
The situation became uncomfortable—our server could not explain why we were never informed of the cover charge beforehand, and Bailey seemed frustrated as well. The lack of communication and organization, especially on a busy Saturday night, reflects poorly on an established restaurant that should have clear policies in place for dinner service. This was particularly disappointing because we were celebrating my father’s 60th birthday, and the evening was ruined due to untrained staff and a manager who admitted she was running the place alone without giving employees the guidance they needed to handle situations like this.
