We have passed this place several times in the past couple of years headed to Fairfield in the morning. GPS always routed us a different way home so yesterday was the day. Decided to try to retrace going home and made it back. Wasn’t sure what to expect but found a real gem. The decor was definitely roadhouse style, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Now for the real test, we ordered the rib-eye hers med. rare, mine rare, both steaks came as ordered with a baked potato. We paid a little extra for a side salad and it was well worth the extra cost. We also ordered Big Bulls Chips and 3 beers, all for $66.00. The food was very good steaks had good flavor and juicy. Will definitely go back.

We’ve been to this place a few times, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. It ruined our friend’s birthday, and the management was completely useless. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were seated with a group of 25 for a birthday party. We had reserved seats for a large group, but the staff only set a table of eight. We waited 25 minutes for a waitress after asking three different servers. At 8:15 PM, we placed our food orders, and at 8:50 PM, we were informed that everyone in our group needed to pay an additional $5 for the band. However, there were no signs for a cover charge at the entrance or anywhere else. There was also no table at the door. To make matters worse, a rude man at the patio entrance hung a sharpie-drawn $5 cover charge sign at 9 PM after we had already been seated in the patio area. We weren’t there for a band, so this was completely unnecessary. If you’re planning to go when a band is playing, I recommend using the back door by the bathroom, the backside driveway, or parking up top and walking down. There’s no charge at these entrances! They don’t check for wristbands, and maybe 10% of people had them. Asking large groups or anyone for extra cash after they’ve already been seated is completely wrong and immoral. The double burger i ordered was under cooked and not very good.

We came in a little after Noon
The place was packed. Our drinks came quickly and we placed the food order. It took a little time to get the food because of the crowd. One of out party had a salad another, the loaded nachos, the liver and onions was another order along with two fat Philly cheese steaks Everything was great. Except the waffle fries they were over cooked and hard as brick bats. That was the only fault you could find with the food. The service was great. Our waitress Mandy was great. She was bar tending and in charge of the entire dining room and the patio. Haven’t seen anyone move that fast and keep 7 or 8 tables and the bar satisfied.

I like everything about this place the service is so slow. Takes a while to get a drink order if your at a table with your family. Takes a while to get meals out too

This place is great for hanging out. The outdoor space is awesome with the sand volley ball, corn hole, huge fire pit area, plays set for the kiddos, and plenty of places to sit. The food is decent bar food and the menu has a great selection. The service was a bit slow but we were there on a league night for sand volleyball and it was packed. It's a fun place to take the family.
