We used to love this place but they decided to "reduce their menu and focus more on catering" or so I was told when I asked where all the great menu items were. This was a big disappointment. Also limited hours on the weekend made it hard to share with friends who were only in the city for the weekend. I understand that catering may be a lucrative option for them but I can not imagine losing the regular customers that used to go there can be good for business.

This review has nothing to do with the quality of their food or service but..I was given a gift card for 35.00 .I used it once for around 18.00 ..I tried to use the balance and they told me there is no way for them to use it until they get the new system to accept it.the system is over a year old!! Had to use cash for my salad and honey I bought?last time for me scandalous

Chicken Berry Salad is a family favorite! We have also used them for catering more than once, when delivery and set up was needed, as well as for when we picked up and then dropped off the dishes. Food and service has always been good quality.

Cool front room, but the food wasn't great. I ordered the blt.. bacon was not fresh and very hard. There was visable cooled grease on it. The chili was okay.

Family used to love this place! Had awesome soups, salads, burgers, and breakfast! Now it is mostly antiques and basic baked goods! We miss the whole menu. The family is amazing. We just miss Phil’s cooking! We need more dining options in town not more touristy stores.

We have very much loved this place since before covid. The food selections were amazing, atmosphere was welcoming, and all around just a cool little place with old Knick knacks. Unfortunately covid took over, the previous owner is no longer working there and it's more of an antique shop than it is restaurant. However, if you are looking for a blast from the past, everything they have for sale will take you back to your childhood.

Food still great. Unfortunately they have a very limited menu now and all seating is downstairs. Def will return for carryout but not for dine in.

I used to love this place but they’ve shifted focus and it’s now is an antique store with a couple of (very basic) food items that you can take to go. So sad to see this breakfast/lunch spot that offered so many great choices gone.

Such a cute local place. I'm not sure what their dine-in situation is since we always get their take out. The Chicken Berry salad is to die for and their club sandwich is huge!

I used to LOVE this place. However they’ve shrunk their large menu down to two sandwiches and a couple types of soup. They advertise their berry salad but only have it on Mondays and Tuesdays. I enjoyed stopping in for a great salad and eating in their little cafe but they’ve removed 90% of the seating, and filled the place with musty antiques. So disappointed!

Really good spot in a really convenient area. The restaurant has a great feel to it and the food lives up to the great atmosphere. I haven't had anything from the lunch menu, but I'll keep coming back for the breakfast. Try the Traditional breakfast...it's good with the bacon or the sausage links, and the English muffin is always done up perfectly. My only complaint is that I've been here 2 times in the last year to introduce my wife to it, and they've had an unannounced closure both times. Just a bad coincidence, but frustrating nonetheless.

Very disappointed with the new "Look" and "Style" that they chose to go with. No longer offering breakfast or lunch, and now they're just offering antiques and baked goods. As someone who looked forward to their lunches weekly, this is a huge bummer. High st does not have a ton of options for food within walking distance of the government building, so this was a huge hit to this building.

Go here for the chicken berry salad. This is the best salad my wife says she's ever had in her life. It's loaded with lots of greens, berries, bacon, onions, blue cheese and a tangy vinaigrette dressing. I'm not sure how they're operating currently, whether it is as a restaurant or more a catering business. That being said, they do have a really great breakfast and lots of yummy soups and sandwiches to choose from as well. The front bakery case is always stocked with individual pieces of cakes and pies. They also have lots of cool antiques that serve both as decoration and are for sale.

High St. Cafe catered our wedding and everything was excellent! I couldn’t recommend them more. Everything was delicious. Everyone loved the food. Phil went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you so much again!!
