Women taking orders was rude.Everything was overly greasy. So, so much grease! The chicken in the fried rice was mostly gristle and the rice was inedible, half-dried out and half greased. Egg rolls were just grease-soaked cabbage. Will never eat here again. Plus, they're a few bucks more than any other Chinese place around. I'll drive a little further to get quality

I don’t normally post reviews, but I couldn’t let this one slide. The quality of meat that I had from here was scary to say the least. What I ordered had to be chicken gristle, cause it wasn’t actual meat. The food we ordered was just terrible. Improvements need to be made on this. There’s no way I’d go back to check, though!

Honk Kong Wok is a great little shop. Family owned, not corporate. It's located in a little plaza back from the road, next to a video game shop. Walking in you will see nick-nacks for sale (glass figurines, etc) on the counter, and the fixtures look a little old, but clean. The staff are friendly, the food is good. I eat here an average of twice every two weeks. Prices are reasonable. The best part (in my opinion) is the FRIED RICE. I searched DOZENS of restaurants trying to find fried rice cooked with THICK SOY. This gives the rice a dark brown, slightly sweeter taste. (I'm living in Ohio, but from Massachusetts. ALL the American Chinese food restaurants use the thick soy back home The only thing I'm missing are "Fall River Chow Mein Noodles" which are a regional thing.) The ONLY minor thing I can think of is that I find Boneless Pork Ribs better when dry and slightly burned VS covered in a sauce, but that's an extremely minor comment and NOT a complaint.

I have been a customer of this place, and have generally had good experiences. I'm sorry to see all the negative reviews, but I can understand some of the input. I did not see one single response from the owners, so I am not sure how much this feedback matters....I had dinner with an appetizer tonight; it was a $15 meal, and the chicken Kung Pao was absolutely terrible. The chicken meat was so tough, it was impossible to chew some of it.I wonder if the owners ever try their own cooking. I consider this pretty much a waste of money tonight...

We decided to order something to eat with our friend on the way to visit her. Hong Kong Wok was very close to her apartment. We ordered about five large dishes costed over than $50. Each dish contained different ingredients, such as port, chicken and shrimp. We found the ingredients were not fresh, especially the shrimps. My daughter didn't even want to touch them. The ingredients were also very little. Each dish looked dark brown and tasted salty. We felt very disappointed and regretful to choose this restaurant.
This is the only Chinese restaurant I go to! The food is amazing and the staff is always very kind. Highly recommend!

Back in town for a visit. Just not as good as I remember it. Still better than most Chinese places I have tried across the country.
