This is definitely an old school, hole in the wall, hometown joint. It was full of locals as can be expected, but the service was fairly quick and we had our food in no time. We ordered a basic eggs and hashbrowns style breakfast, which was good, but nothing spectacular. I suppose if I lived close by and came here more frequently I'd have more of an affinity for it, but for a one and done it gave me a little bit too much "old and rundown".
Great!

packed in crammed quarters. Waitress refused to give me a to go cup for my iced tea, said she had none. Waitress would rather talk to her regular clients and ignore paying guests. Food was gross, had the bean soup which was worse than cold broth with canned beans thrown in, depressed out of date atmosphere and you know what? Not even cheap, an expensive, unfreindly hole in the wall

Always a great place to go! Sidewinders and ranch on point. A little upset my husband's kitchen sink had absolutely no flavor in the gravy. The workers said the weekend gravy is much better than weekday gravy.
Solid breakfast spot! Friendly service. Good portions for the cost. Good flavor for the food.
Everyone wishes service and food was what it used to be. This is the reason places like Frisches are gone, the corporate world took it over. Hyde’s is old school with 10/10 service, good coffee, excellent pie, and food is great. It’s a hidden gem. I feel like I walked into a place with my parents back in the 90s when I come here. It’s perfect

Always a great place to eat.
Had breakfast. Had the western omelette it was a little undercooked.
John is PHENOMENAL. Great service every time. Omelets never disappoint. Years ago they stopped serving raspberry tea and that broke my heart but I don’t hold it against them. John took a picture of the syrup so I can order it now. Perfect Sunday spot!
Love it!!
A local favorite with lots of charm and good service. But sadly food was disappointing. Biscuits and gravy were lacking in every measure which surprised me for a friendly, hometown diner with great reputation for pies.
