I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances, but each visit has been disappointing. I always order the taro milk tea, and every time there’s been a serious issue.
The first visit, the drink was mostly ice. The second time, there was a large chunk of unmixed taro in the cup. The third time was the most concerning, the drink was separated and had a curdled texture instead of being creamy, which made me worry that the ingredients may have been spoiled.
Milk or creamer in taro should never curdle unless it’s expired, stored improperly, or mixed with something acidic after sitting too long. This isn’t a preference issue, it’s a food safety concern.
The shop wasn’t busy during any of these visits, yet the drinks were still poorly made and inconsistent. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Now I got a stomach ache
Okay so here’s the story. Prior to walking in milk jar, my boyfriend had warned me about the smell of this establishment. The last time he went to milk jar was like five months ago. I walk in and turns out he is right. It smells like cat pee, and I genuinely could not uncover my nose. It reeked. I do mention the detail of him attending five months ago because the fact that the smell is still there five months later shows that this is a very unsanitary establishment. I even saw another review that there is cockroaches. This place needs an FDA inspection and somebody needs to stop letting their cat pee in the back. Ice cream wasn’t too bad. Two stars.

I went the other day and it was a older man I seen him smoking in the back and I smelt weed on him he had unprofessional manners
I came into the place at 8pm everything was cleaned up and open sign was shut off, they are suppose to close at 8:30, the 2 young ladies there are very unprofessional and hesitated to speak to us.
