Idk why I’ve waited so long to try the Westside location. Had the rib tip dinner and it hit the spot with a sledgehammer. Seriously the best barbecue I’ve ever had. When you go make sure to pick up a bottle of their Carolina barbecue sauce.

I came to Neil’s Famous Barbecue with high expectations, but left disappointed. The small sides were very small—maybe a fourth of a cup at most. The collard greens were bitter with stems, and the macaroni and cheese wasn’t creamy, had an odd orange color, and too much paprika on top. They were out of cornbread, so I was given a cold dinner roll instead. This was my second visit, and sadly it confirmed why I hadn’t been back. I really wanted this place to live up to the hype, but for me, it just missed the mark. Hopefully, I just caught them on an off day.

Paid for my food and they forgot about me and gave everyone after me there food almost missed the fireworks and waited half an hour for a sandwich I never got I wasn’t the only one with this issue

Figured out how to write my first review on Facebook for the purpose of writing this review. Growing up in the south I was surrounded by good BBQ. Since moving back to Ohio 7 years ago I’ve been searching far and wide for a good small bbq place that reminded me of where I grew up. Neal’s Famous BBQ has finally filled that spot for me. Delicious. Affordable. And the people are great. If you’re ever in Hamilton, it’s a must try.

Neal’s is absolutely the best bbq place I have ever eaten. The rib tips and greens are so good. I could eat this every day. If you haven’t already tried Neal’s you need to make it here and enjoy the great food.

First off the lady working the register is such a sweet lady, the food wasn’t that bad either. The only issue I have is from the owner (I assumed he was the owner because his face is on the logo) he kept wiping sweat from his head and touching the food, he also reeked of liquor and it was only 1pm this place has plenty potential if the owner stops drinking during the day.
So I always get the 2 rib kids dinner for $6 I do not need one extra rib and one more side for $9 more. I have always got 2 actual ribs a side and bread. I never get the sauce. Has always been put in a Styrofoam container. This time the food was put in a cardboard tray, wrapped in aluminum foil. Ok. No big deal. Get home and the ribs look like something ribs should not look like, although the taste was ok borderline burnt. They looked like what you peal off the top of something. Not 2 ribs on the bone. I will of corse give it one more chance. I hope it was just something in the air tonight. If it happens again. We'll they lost a long time regular.

First time eating here coming all the way from Cincinnati and food taste amazing!!! That chocolate cake is definitely top tier for desert!! Definitely making this one of my favorite spots!!

Neal’s is a local staple that many of us have grown up with! Their food is so incredible that we had them cater my wife and I’s wedding. The catering services are fantastic! We got the pulled chicken and pork, baked beans, and coleslaw. All delicious and gluten free! I would highly recommend them for any event.
