My husband has been very ill. When he was ready for REAL food, he wanted Richard's Steak Sandwich. I want to thank them for having it ready and let them know, it was PERFECT and you really made his day. We've always been a Richard's family but this was extra special and so good.

Visiting here from out of state and this has to be the worse steak hoagie I have ever had! Steak was more of a cheap hamburger, and they only put about 2 tablespoons of sauce on it. Would never recommend this restaurant, and I will never go back.
Lovely staff, the steak sandwiches are to die for. My go to is a pizza sandwich add pepperoni and an original with pickle cheese and mushrooms, love richards i just wish there was one closer to my home. Also they are celebrating their 70th anniversary, and have events / deals for that.

I am 66. I grew up in Hamilton. I moved to KY back in 1988. Whenever I make it back to Hamilton, I always stop to get me a Richard's steak sandwich. Now very disappointed. Last night 7/26/25, about 9:30 pm I stopped in the main st. location for a famous steak sandwich. Not a single customer there other than me. About 6 punk kids working. I stood and waited to place an order. And I stood there, and I waited. Thought maybe I must have become the invisible man. Funny though, when I flipped the bird and walked out, they all seemed to notice.
