Good drinks and amazing food. My only complaint is that the food has to be paid for separately than the beer, so that's a slight inconvenience

The 1860 Taproom & Bottleshop is the kind of place where you want to become a regular; or a Mug Club Member! Great craft beer and bourbon menu. An ever-changing menu from AberSon’s that always hits the spot. (The Reuben!!) It’s got that perfect neighborhood pub feel—welcoming, laid-back, and full of good people. Plus, with events throughout the week, there’s always something happening. Cheers!
Had beers and live tunes..very good night.
Great local bar with a wide selection on signature drinks and bourbon pours. We stopped by for a free dinner drink and ended up with drinks and a couple of delicious deserts to finish the evening. Very nice neighborhood feeling with excellent service.
Delicious! First time eating here, and it did not disappoint - perfect pretzels, amazing ham and pineapple quesadilla, and the icecream creation (cherry cordial with cashews and chocolate chunks) was to die for! Amanda was an amazing server as well!!!

Great drinks & great food. The rotating menu from Abersons keeps things interesting!
Rob and Jen run a nice little place having recently added on a food option. Location has a lot of history.
We have not been here since their expansion with AberSon’S and them adding a kitchen, the food is incredible we got the chili and the goetta gravy. I’d say it’s the best food we have had in Harrison.

"Interesting" place to have a meal. The food was very uneven in taste, but parts were very good.
Our visit started oddly. Having 1 process for ordering and paying for food (you have to use an app) and any drinks whatsoever (you have to go to the bar and pay or start a separate tab even for sodas) is bizarre. There is a food server, but nobody to take your order at the table. And yet, they expect in the app that you'll leave a tip before you even speak to a single person. (Huh?)
The menu has a Germanic slant, which I thought would be awesome to try. The foods we tried mostly seemed to miss the mark though. The kettle chips were very heavily seasoned, so much so that nobody in our party ate much of theirs. All 3 sauces for the large pretzel sticks were a big miss. Mustard dip was way sweet, the beer cheese had way too much beer in it, and the honey dip tasted like it was just plain honey). The pretzel flight all had toppings (salted, which was our favorite; a cheese topping that when baked just falls off the pretzel when break off a piece; and a pecan something or other.) The basic pretzel itself was really excellent just plain (salted), but neither of the other pretzel toppings had much flavor.
The bratwurst sandwich featured an awesome brat nestled in one of those great pretzels! Highly recommended!!
The banana bourbon bread pudding, unfortunately, was also way too sweet. I get it, sugar sells, but I'm tired of chefs that just want to make everything sweet. That's what fast food joints do and I kinda expect it there. That's why I try non-fast food restaurants.
Great selection of beers!!
The place was very clean and I suspect it might be fairly new. I'm disappointed with my trip here. Hopefully this night was just new restaurant jitters, but I probably won't go back.
