We were driving through and we didn't want to eat at the spot with the barrel so we came here. We tried the biscuit stack and the Goetta. Both were delicious. The prices on the menu were great! Our server was friendly. Definitely eat here!

I went to the Colerain Red Squirrel many times as a kid. First time at the Harrison location, and the only thing I’m upset about is that I waited this long to try the Harrison Red Squirrel. I’d give 100 stars if I could. My kids were so happy about their meal they asked if we could come back tomorrow lol

Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was absolutely delicious and exactly what we needed. No pictures unfortunately but we got the lunch special turkey pesto with tomato basil soup and a double decker ham and turkey with chicken and dumpling soup. All of it was phenomenal!

If you are traveling I-75 at Cincinnati, get on 275 by-pass, find Harrison Indiana and visit The Red Squirrel. The place is fantastic (though they make a northern style od chicken and dumplings). It is going to be a regular stop from now on!

Stopped in for a late breakfast on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, friendly folks and reasonable prices.

If you want something besides chain restaurants, this is a great alternative.

Another Harrison hidden gem - The food was great, homemade feel to it. The atmosphere was cozy and joyous. The prices, in relation to portions and quality, were surprisingly low.

I spent less on a homemade chicken salad sandwich with a healthy serving of chips; than I would on a “premium” sandwich at Wendy’s

we usually go to nicks / sunny side grill / or j@ js we tried you today got the meat lovers olment / first two bites no meat / opened it up only had 7 pieces of meat in it / the other places we go to they give you double the size of yours / 15.00 for something worth maybe 2.00 no problem just will not go again

We stopped in to wait out the snow storm. The service was great, they kept our coffee topped off and frequently checked on us.
The restaurant and bathroom was clean. This is nice little gem.
The food was hot. The veggie omelet was good, the sausage gravy was meaty and delicious.
Couple hours later we were pleasantly full and back on highway.

I haven't been in here in a while but the last time I went there the turkey was extremely slimy and gross I couldn't even eat the sandwich so I haven't been back.
Positive that's just a one off because that's a pretty good restaurant.
