Carlo's has become one of our very favorite places to visit & take family to. The food is delicious, the staff is so kind & the atmosphere is so warm, welcoming & cozy! It definitely exudes the most authentic Italian, family owned, tasty, small town charm feel & I highly recommend to those who've not tried it before!

Food was decent, service was slow for as empty as the place was. Got asked if we needed boxes before our food even came. Portions are very small for the price. definitely not worth the price at all, waited and waited for them to come get my card so we could pay, tried to go up and pay they wouldn’t let me pay at the counter, sat back down and waited even longer. Won’t be back.

10/10 Italian food. Everything comes out hot and steaming. Their waitresses are fast and polite as can be. Definitely order a caprese salad the mozzarella is so fresh! Chicken alfredo was hands down the BEST i've ever had. The Wedding soup is fabulous and full of flavor as well. And that garlic bread done on a sourdough roll?! Knock your socks off good. Carlos's has been around hartville for decades and I can see why. Their chef cares about every detail of the food and the presentation was phenomenal. See you soon I'll be back again for sure!
Been to this restaurant three times in a span of about a year. Every time, we have been turned away at the door due to them being “Done for the night”. Tonight, this happened at 6:15pm. They close at 9:00pm. The owner was rude about the situation. Don’t waste your time. Will not be back.

Eh, it's okay. It's good for the remote location, but it's not worthwhile to seek out. The food is basic, and the noodles are overcooked and mushy. The service is great, and that helps with the experience, but that isn't enough to return.Vegetarian options: Pasta options

I had eaten there long ago with some friends. The food was good, but the wait was too long.Recently I went there at 8PM. I was in the middle of getting our new home ready to move into, I was tired and hungry and this was one of the few places still "open" according to their site. When I arrived I got out of my car and walked toward the entrance. A family was coming out and I jokinly asked "Did you leave any food for me?" Their response was surprising, "We don't know, they wouldn't serve us." They explained they were told by the girl inside that they wont seat anyone after 8PM, even though their sign on the door says 9PM. So I went in to find out a little more and was immediately told when I entered "We're closed! Sorry." I said, but your sign says you're open until 9 PM. Their response was "yeah, well we dont seat anyone after 8PM. "That's the most rediculous thing I've ever heard. Then change your sign! Is this place being run by 13 year olds? We'll never go back.

I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and the chicken was very bland. The best part was the sauce. We ordered the spaghetti and meatball and the sauce was awful. The meatball tasted like it was out of a frozen bag. The service was terrible. Our waitress received no help with her tables or getting the food out. We asked for bread and it took so long for us to get some. Then it took so long to get our food that we almost got up to ask for more bread and once we got our food, it was so bad that we just asked for more bread and we never got it because they forgot and by that point we were ready for the check.

Have always tried to be supportive of small business even with the limited options that Hartville has to offer in the form of dining! The family and I have frequented the place a few times a month however the last few times have been extremely disappointing. The food is not what it used to be (I am assuming a change in kitchen management) and the lack of customer service has been the worst. Most recently was turned away and refused to be seated (maybe to close to closing time). Unfortunately we will not return and hope they do a little management restructuring because it really is a quaint place.
