Your Pizza of Hartville

Called to order a box of chicken and jojos.
20 mins after placing my order we get a call back to say they're out of chicken. How does that happen???? And why 20 mins after ordering. Used to go here frequently. That won't happen again. Will just go to Kraus' instead.

Received your coupon flyer. Never had your pizza before. Called and put on hold. After 8 minutes on hold I hung up!

This is by far the worst pizza and Jojo I've had. The pizza sauce has little to no flavor and the jos have no seasoning or salt, very bland food. Usually don't do reviews but I figured I save the next person from the same tasteless food that I had.

We were really disappointed with our order. The pizza arrived more than 20 minutes past the latest delivery time, and when it did arrive, it was cold and dry, as if it had been sitting out. On top of that, the middle wasn’t even cut, so we had to cut it ourselves. We usually look forward to enjoying a fresh pizza, but this experience was frustrating and not up to the standard we expected.

My son just picked up dinner from your Hartville location.
I don't usually write reviews, not to mention contact the business, but I feel it's necessary.
A few things really bothered me.
First, he said as he walked in there was what he believed may have been an employee sitting in the dining area smoking. If it was anemployee, shame. Usually greeted with a smile, but this time everyone just sat in the back while one very young boy came to the window.
Next, the jo fries were very overcooked or cooked twice, as a couple were totally burnt and inedible. There were only 7 jo's not 8, including the burnt ones. These were nothing at all like the previous ones we've ordered, and we've ordered a lot. Of all the restaurants that serve them, yours were by far the best. Freshly prepared, tasty, not overcooked and not sitting in a warming tray like so many places do. But not these.
And sadly, this goes for the chicken well. It was either cooked some time ago, or overcooked or twice cooked. Very salty.

I'm not sure what's happened, but it was definitely not the same place we'd been coming to for the past almost two year. I'm sorry to say I feel I just paid for a meal that we didn't enjoy and some of which was not even edible.
I don't know if this was just a fluke, new ownership took over, new staff or you've changed your focus, but whatever it is I hope this message is taken positively.

I appreciate your response, but it didn't address the issues. I've learned that when you call the business that just gave you poor service you end up speaking with the same people that just gave you poor service and nothing is resolved. I've also noticed that your responses to previous reviews are very similar.
Was that a staff member smoking in the store?Was nobody checking the food when it went out if a 14-year-old in training was serving the food?And is it the policy to reheat unserved food?
I will leave it at that. We probably won't be back.

This is THE PLACE for a stromboli.

We chose delivery, so we can't speak for dine in, but $37.00 for a medium chicken bacon ranch that could not be customized; It's not worth that price. It's just bacon ranch pizza with choped up chicken tenders thrown on it. I'm not sure where the extra cost comes from.

First time. Outstanding food, service and the atmosphere is great for a pizza shop. Very, very friendly and polite staff. I ordered a small gourmet (the works) pizza and an order of meatballs. Everything was delicious and the order was completed in exactly the amount of time that I was told it would be. They even brought it out to me while I was waiting in my vehicle. Order the meatballs. I don't order out much but when I do they will be on my list. Thank you.

Just moved to Hartville and tried some pizza shops ( national and local) was surprised by how good the pizzas and jojo potatoes were at Your pizza shop, you should definitely try this place!

Was some of the best food in the area but they hired this new girl and it's gone down hill since. Now it's mediocre at best. Sad too Bud had a good thing going. He put out good food and took care of his customers. I don't think I'll be a regular anymore. I've had better Pizza from a box in the freezer section than this skimpy sad excuse for a pizza. I don't expect something for nothing but I can get a pizza exactly like this for less than $10 @ Giant Eagle.

Recommended dishes: The Gourmet

One of our favorite pizza places. We typically get pizza, chicken & jojos and every time it's been so good. One time they forgot to cook up our chicken when we went to pick it up, but they made it real fast (we had to run across to aldis anyways) and then they even gave us extra jojos for free to make up for the error. We've also ordered a handful of large pizzas for our sons birthday party and their prices were better than hungry howies.
