I live on W River Rd in Middleton Twp , just down the road , near Roachton Rd. I have been to Mail Pouch Saloon more than a few times in the last couple of months for both lunch and dinner. It had been awhile since I discovered it again. I’m not one to remember to submit a review of anything. I was there for a late lunch today. You really have to try this place. I love it. Great people, great food( new menu as of this week) , and entertainment at night is just fun. It’s just a good vibe place. They seriously make me feel good once I sit down. And way. For what it’s worth. Thank you Mail Pouch. Dave

Never had prime rib cut so thin. I get prime rib sandwiches with more meat on them. Broccoli was reheated scorched on the grill and tasted horrible and we love broccoli normally.

We got there when they had just opened and there were only 2 other people there eating. The service was good and the food was fantastic. We had chunks and a burger. Everything was great.

We wanted to have a nice prime rib dinner but they were out of prime rib by 6pm tonight on 9/13. The next thing was it was music bingo night which was ok until the grand prize turned out to be a pair of socks rather than $1000 as everyone expected. The organizers of bingo made it clear only one card per player and to report anyone that was cheating. When we reported a table cheating we were harassed verbally and threatened physically. We will obviously no be returning to this overpriced and unethical place which serves at best mediocre food at high prices with an abusive environment. We have a video of the cheaters flipping us off and using abusive language but I think it is too much to post. Wry disappointed with this situation.

Ordered the prime rib dinner. It was awful. About 1/4” to 1/2” thick. Overcooked. Baked potato was burnt and broccoli was old and spoiled tasting.

Just chunks were great, the woman loved them, I got the mail pouch burger, also very good.
Kid-friendliness: Was family oriented. Definitely kid friendly
We asked to sit so we could watch the Tigers. Nope not that waitress’s turn. Asked if th grilled chicken on the Summer salad was highly seasoned. No. But there was so much black pepper I couldn’t eat it. Ate less than half the salad. Asked for a box. Got a burger box had to smash salad in to fit. No handicapped bathroom. Couldn’t fit my walker in and no grab bars to get up off of low toilet. The best thing: haven’t been out of the house since June 3 because of serious back-to-back surgeries (3days apart) ordered a draft beer. Glass had a huge chip out of it. Cut my lip open when I took a sip. Should have seen it? Maybe. But who expects their draft beer to attack their upper lip? Won’t go back. Can’t drink a beer and not have to pee.
We drove from Michigan because what they advertised on Facebook....we have better bar grills locally, sorry won't be back

Unknowingly there is a 3 beer per hour limit... was there for 3 hours had 5 beers....Miller lite and got cut off.... minding my business playing keno. Good spot for food. Bad spot for bartender math.

Place is really nice and food is good but they close 1-2 hours early every time we go. Posted open till 11:00 and they didn’t say anything. Just put a bill down in front of us at 9pm.

The food was amazing. The fried potabellas are the best I have ever had. The perch sandwich was very good. My wife got the club one of the biggest I have seen. Can't wait to go back.
