This is without a doubt in my mind the best place to order cakes for parties. I usually don't like grocery store bought cakes but Giant Eagle is the only exception. Just bought 3 dozen cupcakes for my daughter's graduation party Saturday and they were sadly all gone by Sunday morning because they were so good. The icing is so silky smooth and the perfect ratio to the amount of cake. The toasted marshmallow buttercream is subtle but very tasty. It takes exactly like a mix between a toasted marshmallow and buttered popcorn. These were a big hit at her party and left me craving more. I'll never go anywhere else and always recommend Giant Eagle bakery.

Tried to place an order for a cake at 4pm and was told the bakery was closed by then..in a grocery store. Ridiculous. Not very convenient for customers who work.

I purchased a cake for a birthday party. I'd never gotten a cake there before and honestly ? only ordered it from there because I couldn't find anyplace else that could do it on short notice. The gal that took my order was very nice & helpful. And...it was FABULOUS!!! I ordered a quarter sheet cake with buttercream frosting ??The best cake I've had in a very long time!I'm having a baby shower for my daughter soon and will definitely be ordering it from them!!

I love Giant Eagle but I wish they would put the small bags of cat litter on the second shelf. I am 76 yrs old and it is very hard for me to get the small bag from the top shelf.
