Very dirty and staff is rude. Food was very greasy and tasted like old used over and over oil from the deep fryer.

A bit small for my taste, but if you're a local I'm sure it's a great place. It's been on business for 42 years, so they must be doing something right! Staff was great people.

Same ole depressing, dark place it's always been. Ya gotta love it!

was headed up north to attend to the least fun bits of adulting when the transmission started in to making some unhappy sounds which effectively ended the trip. nothing to do but turn south and head for home but the GPS can't make up its mind on how I'm getting there so I wound up here; frustrated and upset and grumpy and presently stopped in front of the diviest little waterside dive bar I'd been in front of in a very long time... my, what a fortuitous turn of events. very smokey - the smoke from a thousand years of tall tales of adventure; very friendly - folks introducing themselves and asking about the day; and dare I say very soothing - the song-o-matic plays satchmo, patsy, and other obscure artistes... 50¢ pool, $2.00 domestic bottles, and the barkeep confirmed my fitness for duty before wishing me well getting the gold car home. a fella could do a lot worse for being so obviously 'not from around here' ;-) pretty sure this is best dive bar ever...
