The atmosphere is beautiful, the people there are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Everything is vegan so I don't have to worry about what I am ordering. I got their gluten free bagel stuffed with bacon, egg, avocado, spinach and cheese. I wish I could come here all the time but I live an hour away. I highly recommend this place vegan or not because their food is delicious! They also have BVH cookies and other pastries.

Industrial Cozy is how I describe Birch Cafe! It's a warm & cozy atmosphere with a cafeteria look. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly & patient! My new stop every time I'm in Highland Heights! And we love the cozy mugs too, and our mocha & latte was right on point! Two thumbs up! 😁👍🏾👍🏾

Stopped in on our way out of Cleveland. Had a fantastic breakfast burrito with a big chocolate chip cookie and a bottomless cup of coffee. The food here is all vegan and my choice was delicious! Staff was very friendly, polite and professional. There's a small counter area, and a larger table area with plenty of seating. There's also a small but warm little area with more comfortable seating. You order and pay at the counter then find a seat while you wait. Our food came quickly and as I said before was fantastic. Highly recommend and will visit again the next time we're in Cleveland.

I sampled a turkey and I had to ask a couple of times if it was vegan, then I bought their breakfast burrito, and after I stuffed my face and I looked up and had to confirm again that that was vegan. This place is amazing.

Silly me didn't take any photos, but we literally could not have had a better experience here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, environment was clean and inviting. I've been a flexitarian for years but recently committed to the vegetarian life. After a holiday week of family meals and passing up meat-centered entrees that looked amazing, dining here was the greatest reprieve. We ordered their wing special, mac and cheese, jalapeno popper bagel sandwich, and pomegranate lemonade (barista said it was their favorite, which, after trying it myself, makes sense; it was so good). Everything was incredible. I'd enthusiastically take my omnivore family and friends here.
Only complaint is that we live in the Chicago area, but that's not BC's fault 😂
If I ever decide to make the leap to full vegan, this place will not have me missing any of the flavors or textures of animal products. Even if you haven't made any plant-based dietary commitments, Birch Cafe will rock your socks. Food, atmosphere, and especially the service were top-notch. We will definitely return when we're back in the area.

Let’s call it more of a restaurant-light or deliciously loaded cafe because the food is not only really varied with everything from light snack to hearty fulfilling comfort style meal. I’m working from out of town so rely heavily on the happycow app and it did not disappoint! I got the broccoli and cheddar quiche, the sides of
Mac and cheese and potato salad and also a meaty crunch wrap and a latte… I haven’t been happier with my food in a LONG time! Also incredibly fair pricing and spot on for portion sizes. I’d give them 11 out of 10 if that was an option!
Oh!!!!! The staff!!!!! What a fun, kind and pleasant group of people to exchange with!!!!! (I’m about to get delivery from them again right now!!!)

Went here a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about how incredible this place is. I put in an order to go, but was impressed with the great atmosphere that seemed to be present inside. Would love to eat in the next time I go. I got a chance to try their special, which was a corned beef hash crunchwrap (vegan corned beef, vegan cheese, hash brown patty, grilled onions, tofu scramble, and a side of thousand island) and it was truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I also had a phenomenal sausage shallot quiche slice, with every component of it being incredible, especially the melty cheese and the crispy crust. I also had a chicken, egg, and cheese bagel that was magnificent; it had some of the best vegan chicken I’ve ever had. The hash brown avocado toast was also great, as was the Oreo blondie I tried. Awesome lattes as well. Highly recommend the potato salad and macaroni salad as well; I’ve eaten a lot of potato salad/macaroni salad and this ranks up there with some of the best. I thankfully had help eating all of this, and I certainly ordered enough food to get multiple meals from this, but I already look forward to returning to Cleveland soon so I can order even more.

This place is the gem I've been searching for. The fact that it's Vegan AND gluten-free is amazing. I had the gluten-free bacon egg sandwich and the sausage egg sandwich, they were fantastic. I believe it could use some kind of tahini sauce or maybe guac as a spread. Otherwise, amazing. I'll become a regular for sure.
