You know that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic was transported to his childhood from the food that happened to me here. The tacos tijuana with carne asada brought me back to when I was a kid sharing a botana platter with friends after church in the little hole in the wall restaurant down the street. The flavors and freshness that comes out of that kitchen was amazing! Highly recommend! Creative menu, lovely presentation and attentive service makes you want to go back. Not your average Mexican restaurant.
For months we have been driving past their location watching as they gutted and remodeled. When the tarp around their sign came down, we couldn’t wait until we had the opportunity to experience this new restaurant.
My husband and I went for lunch today. I’m pretty sure we were the first patrons of the day as they seemed to be in the ready to open phase. That didn’t bother us. They just opened.
