Absolutely mortified after our experience today. A waitress made a minor mistake and the cook “manager” (by the name of Jay) began irately cussing her out, screaming at her and demanding she be fired - this took place where children and guests could hear the entire thing. The GM Tony did NOTHING! It was so bad that a customer got up and had to practically walk into the kitchen to get the tirade to stop. Staff advised us that this happens all the time and Jay will “be fired” or “walk out” and come right back. This needs investigated as it made very a very unsafe and dangerous environment. Tony is not much of a GM for allowing this absolutely unhinged behavior. I’ve already called customer relations and will follow-up daily until I know this has been resolved. Staff and customers should not be subjected to this abuse.

Server was rude and skipped over my childr n trying to order before they were done. Then he told me that I could not get my order done the way I always order it, including just last week. He brought the manager in who very condescendingly told me I'm welcome to order something else and wasn't even on the same page as the waiter.

⭐ 1 STAR — AND THAT’S GENEROUS
🚨 READ BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION 🚨
I stopped going to this Bob Evans for almost TWO YEARS because of one person: the General Manager, Shanice Johnson-Burke. I gave it another chance recently, and nothing has changed. Same hostility. Same attitude. Same made-up pricing.
Two years ago, she tried to charge me for barbecue sauce that was free everywhere else. That alone was enough to stop going here.
Fast forward to December 24, 2025 — I placed an online order and asked for a side of apples. I had ordered the same pancakes a month earlier and received apples at no charge. This time, she suddenly says apples are $5.99, then $5.18 🤔
Meanwhile, another Bob Evans location confirmed apples ring up $3 and are sometimes free. So which is it?
🚩 Prices seem to change depending on who you’re dealing with — and that’s a problem.
Instead of calmly explaining anything, she: ❌ Ignored me at first
❌ Acted openly hostile
❌ Wrote a nasty handwritten note on my receipt saying she “couldn’t add apples to online orders”
❌ Ended the interaction with “That’s the way it is, lady” and walked away
📸 I am attaching: • Her manager card
• The receipt with the handwritten note
This is NOT a one-time issue. It’s a pattern.
When she is not in the restaurant, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is fine. When she is there, morale drops and customers are treated poorly. She single-handedly ruins the experience and drives people away. In my case, she already did — for years.
🛑 This location needs serious retraining, especially at the management level: • Customer service
• Professional communication
• Consistent pricing
• Basic respect
Bob Evans can do better — but not if behavior like this is tolerated.
👀 Save yourself the frustration.

My son used to love this restaurant - the chain, not necessarily this location. My grandparents used to take me there on a very regular basis. Now that they are gone, there’s a nostalgia that used to hang in the air here.
Year after year, that feeling has faded as the restaurant struggles to get good help, keep the restaurants clean, and provide a value to its customers. Even the ‘wholesome’ vibe of Bob Evan’s farms was weakened when they started selling cheesesteaks and alcohol.
We have three interactions today that lasted a grand total about about 90 seconds.
When we walked in, the manager (who was extremely slovenly in his attire) apparently got tired of us standing there staring at him and gruffly snapped that they’d be with us soon.
Shortly after, the hostess came to seat us and she took the time out of her day to make sure we knew we were inconveniencing her by being there while she seated us.
Our waitress flew past our table and said ‘be there in a minute’ and that was the end of our interaction.
We got tired of waiting and left, so no review of the food but the place was unkempt similar to the manager and just seemed dingy. I think the chain is probably due for being put out to pasture (bad joke, I know), and will most likely not get our business in the future…

I will not return to this Bob Evans. I wanted their amazing cole slaw. I was charged $2.99 for HALF a SINGLE serving. Adding insult to injury Im then asked for a CARRYOUT tip. This is why you are going out of business. (I have a picture but cannot show it here).

Most disappointing meal ever. I grew up with Bob Evans and it will be a long time if ever that I will be able to return. I ordered the chicken sandwich with corn and fries. The corn and sandwich were packed together which caused the bun to be absolutely soaked. The lettuce and tomato looked like it had come from the trash can. Cheese was stuck to the lettuce so I lost that when I tossed the lettuce. Just so disappointing on so many levels.

Came here for dinner on a whim. It was a great experience! Service was fast and friendly. The food came out hot and great. The server gave us our check early but expressed no rush for us to leave.

Bob Evans has changed a lot for the better. I hadn’t been here for over a year and was extremely impressed with the food quality and flavor. Nice portions and very reasonable cost. This place is a gem in today’s devolving restaurant scene. Well worth a visit! The turkey bacon club was truly outstanding! Great hot fudge Sunday to top off the meal.

Ordered Thanksgiving meals here. The food was PiTIFUL! Every item was subpar. I am not writing this to complain. It would be a waste of time. This is simply a warning to others to go elsewhere and eat. It is time to furniture out the lights, lock the doors and toss the keys in the dumpster, on the way to your car. The is NO RECOVERY from a situation such as this. Equipment and furniture auctios are next...

A truly poor experience at Bob evans tonight. Walked in with my family and the staff looked disappointed we walked through the door. (I have a large family for context). Took a few minutes to be greeted, but then our family of 7 was taken to a 4 person booth. We never got our high chair. The manager came and told us we need to move because we are too large for our table, seemingly blaming us for picking it. Found a bigger table finally.
On a trip to the bathroom, I overheard the staff complaining about my family being here and questioning why we would eat out with all our kids, and upset they need to serve us. This was deeply hurtful. Also, the bathroom has visible black mold on the ceiling. Disgusting.
Our server was kind and patient with the kids, the only saving grace of the night. The food was basic, nothing exciting. The kids really like Bob evans, but i don't think we will ever go here again. I don't recommend eating here, especially if you have kids. They'll not so secretly despise that you came in
