“Quirky atmosphere with great food. My son got the French toast and it was so good. It was French toast bites, so a crisp to it and delicious. I got the brisket omelet, the portion was huge! Not a huge bean person but the black beans in this omelet were so well cooked and well seasoned. All around good quality and taste and looks of interesting decor to look at. I would definitely come back!“

From the melty cheese over a slightly crispy burger edge to crispy shoestring fries, this place is a very nostalgic. It’s also a reasonable drive from anywhere in the city. “They have absolutely delicious food, I’ve tried multiple different menu items and it never disappoints. Anytime I’m in the area on my lunch break I always try to come here. Not to mention their prices are cheaper than anywhere else in Columbus. I get a nice big cheeseburger and hand cut fries for $6. It’s cheaper than fast food but it is such better quality. Definitely one of my favorite little markets in Columbus, you gotta come in through the Sunoco gas station to find it and it’s kind of hidden in the back but mannnn is it worth it!!“

“We’ve visited Spiros on two occasions. Once for breakfast where we enjoyed the steak and eggs with a side of home fries, small pancake stack, western omelette with home fries and a side order of bacon. Our second visit occurred during lunch. We enjoyed an appetizer of fried mushrooms and the Reuben with fries. Everything was excellent and arrived to the table hot! Restaurant is clean, portions are plentiful and it’s family owned! Highly recommend!“

The atmosphere was cool and sort of retro. The real treasure here is the wait staff. We had such an intuitive waitress. Both professional and courteous. My colleagues and I were out on a business lunch.Discussing some things prior to ordering our food. Our waitress told us just to close the menus when we were done and she would come over. I was thoroughly impressed by that tactic. That keeps her from approaching the table, a number of times and allows her to service the patrons that she needed to yet gives her a very clear visual cue as to when we were prepared to make our order. That small gesture was very efficient and thoughtful but made all the difference“
