Local Cantina in Hilliard is a solid go-to for casual tacos and good vibes. The margaritas are fresh, the chips and queso are addictive, and the street-style tacos hit the spot. Great service, fun atmosphere, and perfect for a relaxed night out.

Have been here many, many times.
My personal favorite is the Nashville Hot Chicken Taco. Very nice spice, and the chicken is crunchy and tasty.
The last few times, the service has been a bit of a struggle. Very poor communication and very slow kitchen.
I'll be back and hope that the service gets a little better.

I have always loved Local Cantina. I have to say I had such a horrible experience this last time being there. As I was taking a bite of my food I bit into a huge chicken bone! I bit into it so hard it broke my tooth in half. I called a manager over and told her about it. And of course she was very apologetic. But that bone was pretty significant. She tried to blame the fact that they get their meat from somewhere else. But whoever filled my flaunta had to see it. I had to go to the dentist the next day and the dentist didn’t know if he could save the tooth due to where the crack was. Thank God it didn’t crack clear up into the root. But it was still bad enough I had to get a root canal that day and miss a half a day of work: I am absolutely devastated! I called to let them know and I still haven’t heard anything back! I am very disappointed and disgusted with Local Cantina!

Came in on a Saturday, put our name on the waitlist and waited. At one point HALF the tables in the restaurant were vacant, cleaned off and able to take customers, yet instead of seating people, they continued to make people wait. Zero excuses for this. It’s restaurant management 101 to know you seat people asap. After about 30 minutes of staring at empty tables and being told by the host that the manager told him not to seat people at said tables, we left.
Gonna be a bit before we bother coming back. Zero reason people couldn’t have been sat and had chips and served drinks. It literally felt like they were deliberately not seating people in hopes that they’d go elsewhere. Laziness.

Always a great meal to be had. The food was amazing like past trips (try the Colorado burito) and we were never wanting for a refill on our drinks.
Our food was delicious! They have changed a few things with my Hong Kong Phooey taco (it's now a chicken tender instead of grilled chicken) but it still tasted great along with my Chrunchweezy! Our waitress was great and attentive. The margs are always on point!
