went there for father's day and the family was excited to go and was majorly disappointed. the service was horrible. not even a greeting from the server. never got offered a refill on our drinks. told 15 minutes into waiting for food thst they were out of sausage and buns for a chicken sandwich. had to remind the server about the appetizer. which got out there after the main course at least that was hot because the food was like warm at best. my daughter had an omelet and the chorizo was bland. how do you that? my wife was disappointed in the whole experience she was the one that chose the place. yes I get it we were there toward the end of day so I get running out of stuff. but dang server basics.

We’ve been to Starliner multiple times and it never disappoints. This is a popular staple in Hilliard. The atmosphere features an eclectic vintage diner feel. The food is Latin inspired and delicious. A favorite brunch spot.

Tasty breakfast and lost of options on menu
Service usually not the best and atmosphere is fair
Overall, good tasting breakfast and fairly clean surroundings

Got carry out. Order was incorrect tortilla soup tasted like tomato soup with sour cream in it. It was terrible. Not sure if the correct soup was in order. I have never had tortilla soup like this threw out all but grilled cheese salad was mainly ice berg lettuce

We had a great experience and tasty food. The starliner burrito was incredible and the Cuban French toast was really good.

Starliner Diner’s a breakfast haven! Mofongo omelet packs bold, rich flavors, perfectly balanced 😋. Cuban toast & fluffy pancakes wow, with hefty portions. Cozy, fun vibe & speedy, friendly staff—shoutout to the bartender! Coffee’s fresh, but can overwhelm 😕. Book for holidays—pure comfort awaits!

Excellent food, wide selection of both American and Cuban flavors, excellent service.

This place was very busy when me and my friend went there. Which is a good sign. Seriously massive portions for the price. Very high quality food. And the Cuban bread was an added bonus. I would recommend this place to anybody

I had high hopes for Starliner Diner, but my experience was a complete letdown. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it arrived cold, served on a hoagie bun that wasn’t pressed or even heated. The fries were just as disappointing—limp, undercooked, and barely edible. It’s honestly shocking that food this poorly prepared is making it out of the kitchen. The wait staff, however, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and the only bright spot in this visit. The kitchen staff clearly needs an overhaul, or they need a competent kitchen manager to get things under control. I’m baffled how this place stays open serving food like this. I won’t be returning.

It's a cool little old school looking diner with a bar and the food is excellent.
