Went to the Coffee Festival just a week ago at the time of writing this review, Coffee Mess was one of the roasters that had their coffees available to sample. I sampled their Chami roast during the festival, and with it being a superb coffee compared to what other coffees I sampled, I purchased a bag o' beans from them. Absolutely had no regrets purchasing their coffee after further sampling most of the coffees available at the Coffee Festival––their Chami roast was definitely the top contender for me. Haven't been to their location yet at time of review since it's somewhat out of the way from where I live, but given the quality of the roast I've had so far (I can't overstate I really enjoy this blend, and I'm particular with my coffee), when I run out of the Chami roast I picked up at the festival I know I'm driving out of my way to location to pick up more. I brewed my coffee ground fine with a pour-over with a higher water temp of ~205ºF with it being a lighter roast, and the Chami roast itself has a great earthy flavor with a perfect balance of slight acidity, fruity-ness, minimal bitterness, and great mouthfeel. Highly recommend their coffee if the coffee I've purchased is indicative of their quality. Coffee bag had a little water staining, however the beans themselves are in perfect condition.

They have great coffee here and it's a small local place. What's even better is they are located within the Lil Donut Shop so you can get your caffeine fix and a donut.

I get a bag of the Bali Moon beans for my aunt every year for her birthday. She swears that it is the best coffee she has ever had. The staff have always been incredibly friendly to me even though I myself am not a coffee drinker.

I love The Coffee Mess. I admit I'm a little biased. Tim is a good friend of mine, and I started out in coffee years ago with him. Tim and his staff are knowledgeable and great. They each bring their own distinct personality and character. The coffee is good, the space is small but comfortable.
