We got married January 3rd, 2026 and everything was absolutely perfect! It’s all inclusive and definitely saved us a ton of time and stress! I truly didn’t stress the planning process at all! Mia was our coordinator and helped a ton pre wedding, during the wedding and after. The vendors were perfect! We had the absolute best night! We could not have chose a better venue!

Wow wow WOW! We had our wedding at WatersEdge (Lakeview location) two weeks ago and it was absolutely PERFECT! Everything ran so smoothly, not a single thing went wrong. Our coordinator, Mia, was such a delight to work with. She was so on top of everything, very organized, and did an incredible job keeping our timeline moving along.

The space itself is breathtaking - and once you add florals, decor, drapery, and other personal touches, oh my gosh. It truly felt like a fairytale and perfectly matched the whimsical garden party vision that I had in my mind.

The fact that it's all inclusive is SUCH A BONUS! And the vendors they are partnered with are incredible. Food was great, alcohol selection was top tier, cake was beautiful and delicious, DJ kept the party going, and the florist did a wonderful job on the centerpieces. They also have amazing add-ons that are totally worth the extra spend. Having a day-of coordinator is also such a game changer - I don't know how anyone does a big wedding without one!

Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more. WatersEdge truly brought our vision to life and made it look so effortless! I cannot recommend them enough :)

I don’t like leaving any sort of negative review but I feel like it’s important to share my experience of getting married here. Starting with the pros, the communication with staff was good throughout the planning process. I really liked that mostly everything was included in one package, it made the planning a lot easier. The food was very tasty, and the atmosphere of the venue was BEAUTIFUL. It was truly what we had envisioned for our wedding day. We also really liked that the staff sets up and tears down everything and they really did a great job with it. For the cons, the shrubbery down the aisle for lakeside is just too much. They trimmed back some after our rehearsal, but my dad who is 6’4 still had to completely duck down for our whole walk down the aisle. We were supposed to only have one row of seating at the ceremony reserved, but they marked the first two rows reserved so no one sat in the second row. This led to guests standing around without chairs and the catering team had to bring out chairs. Supposedly the coordinator said “don’t tell the bride”. We were also told there would be a second bar set up on the patio for cocktail hour, but that didn’t happen. The reception space was very warm due to the sun beaming in and some of our guests were sweating and complained about it to us. The staff did close the blinds after a request was made, which helped. The biggest issue for us was the fact that the plated dinner delivery was extremely inconsistent. I’m not sure if the catering staff was new or what? We had many tables where everyone was finished eating, and some guests were still waiting for their food to be delivered. That is beyond ridiculous. Also, they did not cut and serve cake after dinner. They served our late night bite first, which makes no sense. Dessert should be right after dinner, and late night bite is supposed to be through dancing portion when everyone’s already been drinking. I felt like the stress of issues and concerns overshadowed our day. Overall, I feel disappointed with the experience, which is disheartening considering the cost of getting married here.

We recently had our wedding at Lakeview at WatersEdge and it was truly wonderful. We were originally drawn to the venue because it felt intimate, classy and warm. The day was magical. We had many people come up to us to tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, and we are thankful to WatersEdge for the role they had to play in our beautiful wedding experience.

We would especially like to thank Mia Johnson, who was our coordinator on the day. Mia is warm, friendly, very organized, and worked on her feet nonstop. The team at WatersEdge are true professionals who help ensure everything goes to plan. We also love the in-house vendors they use, including Fiori Florals, Alice's Piece of Cake, D and M DJ Entertainment and Gourmet Fresh Catering. Our cake was divine (the absolute best wedding cake we have ever had!), our centerpieces were stunning, our DJ was personable and fun, and we loved various food items, especially the flank steak and appetizers.

Our photographers at AZAR got some amazing shots that speak to the beautiful grounds onsite. Overall, communication was great and I have no real complaints. Some suggestions: It would be good to get speakers in the rooms while getting ready, and we also would have liked to have known that our Photo Booth was not a print-out Photo Booth prior to booking. Additionally, we didn't get to do our bouquet toss, there was a couple small mic issues during the ceremony, and we would have liked a bit more blooms in our bridesmaid bouquets. However, these are smaller details that aren't entirely to do with the venue, and as they say in the wedding industry, not everything will go perfect on the day! Despite this, our day sure felt perfect.

Thank you, WatersEdge, for a wonderful day. It was the best day of our lives.

Kind regards,
The Snyders

Had a meeting for work here the place is beautiful!

Very nice venue with many beautiful vistas. Unfortunately, urban sprawl has been encroaching on it for many years limiting its options. Years ago my wife and I attended an outdoor wedding here and the freeway noise was very distracting. However, the indoor venue options are still very very nice and should not be dismissed as weddings and other event options.

The staff were amazingly accommodating and easy to work with.

We absolutely LOVED working with the Water’s Edge team! Harper was our coordinator and was on top of everything (the day of we also had a couple other ladies helping Harper and apologize for not remembering their names but you know who you are!). From helping with last minute target runs, to even a putting my bouquet together last minute (lol) to set up (they literally took boxes of things and got EVERYTHING set up for us), to clean/pack up. They were always on top of everything. So thank you all of you ladies for making our day so perfect!

The venue being all inclusive and the planning process being already laid out was the best case scenario for us as we live out of state. From the food to the cake to the florals, to the DJ, they all killed it. Everything came together so beautifully and my husband and I had such an incredible night! I’d definitely recommend this venue or even looking into their sister venues with the same all inclusive set up. The venues we visited under this umbrella were all beautiful and had their own sort of feel/vibe so there’s lots to choose from depending on the style you’re looking for!

I was slightly disappointed with our wedding day experience. We began searching for venues two years before our wedding and eventually came across Watersedge. We loved the venue, and the lady we met with made it sound like a dream come true. She assured us they would provide catering, florals, linens, the bar, the DJ, as well as setup and teardown. Without hesitation, we said yes to the venue that day—it sounded too good to be true.

As we entered the wedding year, communication was excellent, and they were very helpful. However, one month before the wedding, communication almost completely stopped. It became nearly impossible to get responses from our wedding coordinator, who we had been in touch with for two years. At the wedding rehearsal, there was no guidance. A random coordinator, who was busy setting up for another wedding, looked at us and treated us like we didn’t belong there when we explained why we were there. There was no one assisting with the rehearsal—it was just me, the photographers we hired, and our wedding party trying to figure everything out on our own. Which we only had 1 hour to do.

On the wedding day, things got worse. We arrived to find a different wedding coordinator instead of the one we had been working with. This new coordinator seemed like she didn’t want to be there—she was rude and rushed us through the entire day. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one who noticed this. Additionally, the linens were incorrect. When we pointed this out, the coordinator initially tried to argue that it was our fault. However, after we pulled up the documents we had sent them, she admitted it was Watersedge’s mistake. Sadly, there was nothing they could do because they didn’t have the correct linens in stock.

Our original coordinator did email us the following week and offered a small refund, which we appreciated. Still, it didn’t fix the complications of the day. Another minor issue was the fireplace—it was never turned on. While not a major problem, we were supposed to have color options for it, and I think it would have added a beautiful touch. We had a vision for our day, and it’s disappointing when things don’t go as planned.

We also brought a light-up last name sign to display. I had tested all the pieces before bringing it in, so I knew everything was there. However, the coordinator claimed we were missing the adapter. I don’t believe this, especially since we’ve been unable to find the adapter anywhere in our cars or at home since the wedding—the only two places it could have been. Because of this, the sign wasn’t lit up.

Overall, the day felt disorganized, and the wedding coordinator was unhelpful. We didn’t even have our boutonnieres because no one told us where to find them.

On a positive note, the lake view, florals, food, cake, and DJ were all phenomenal. I would highly recommend those services to anyone. The DJ, in particular, was outstanding—he communicated more and provided more guidance during the ceremony and reception than the wedding coordinator. He truly made the day ten times better by ensuring everything ran smoothly.

That said, my biggest complaint was the coordinator’s attitude throughout the day. Her behavior was unprofessional and brought negative energy to what should have been a joyous occasion. Several guests noticed this as well. Her rushing and attitude even caused me to skip a first look with my dad, something I had been eager to do.

To sum up, I’m not saying I don’t recommend this venue—many things did go right, and it’s a beautiful place. However, I hope future couples experience better communication and professionalism from the coordinators, with fewer errors overall. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and couples deserve to have their special day go as they envisioned.

The WatersEdge team did a great job in working with Air Control Products, Inc. to host our 2024 Innovation EXPO. While hosting over 25 manufacturer tables, over 150 visitors and 4 training classes, everything was well coordinated and executed as planned. We had a great experience.

Last fall, Jean-Leigh Photography had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at this stunning venue, and I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review sooner! The experience was truly remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to create a magical day, ensuring that every detail was perfect and everyone was well cared for. Their support was invaluable, especially since it was our first time at the venue.

Despite the unfortunate rain on our couple’s big day, the team seamlessly transitioned to the indoor ceremony space, allowing the celebration to continue without missing a beat. The venue's variety of ceremony options was a huge asset, and the indoor setup was just as breathtaking as the outdoor one.

We were also captivated by the natural light that filled the space, complemented by beautiful water views and vibrant fall foliage. It was a photographer's dream! We absolutely loved our time working here and can’t wait for the opportunity to return.

Attended a tech conference here. Wayfinding was lacking, the multiple stage areas are far away from each other through a little underground tunnel-type hallway. Presenters had frequent AV challenges with the wifi not being robust enough to support needs. It looks like it's usually a wedding venue. Pleasant views.

We had a wonderful experience organizing our wedding at Lakeview. We looked at several of the highest rated all inclusive venues in the Columbus area and ultimately decided on Lakeview for the versatile indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces with a beautiful reception area. Lakeview has a cozy, rustic, and elegant setting, and this is one of the more affordable places for an all inclusive venue. The staff here all are professional, kind, and courteous. Alexa was our coordinator and she was simply outstanding. I couldn't have had a easier wedding day, and I am so grateful to all the staff at Lakeview for celebrating with us and making our day perfect. Please see my more detailed reviews on TheKnot and WeddingWire.

A wonderful venue with very friendly and professional staff!! Lakeview was one of the best venues we checked out in Columbus. It has an outdoor patio that guests really enjoyed. There’s a beautiful lake and greenery outside prepared mainly for ceremonies, but it was a great background for couple photos as well. The Lakeview ballroom was lovely and elegant with very warm vibes and great lighting, even with no extra decorations.

Coordinators were very supportive and professional. We worked with Madi and Nicole who showed us food and decor options and vendors for whatever they do not directly offer. They were both extremely patient and cooperative and planned everything to run so smoothly. They even were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and were able to source halal chicken. Day-of coordinator (Lynde - see picture) was the most helpful person ever that day and she was very approachable and communicated everything with everyone helping! She helped with everything as if she was a family member, even with decorations we brought from outside and with cleanup. The catering manager and bartender were also extremely polite and smiley and made our guests so comfortable. Everyone on set, as well as Madi and Nicole, made the day extra special and made sure it ran smoothly without any hiccups. Totally recommended!!
