Had a meeting for work here the place is beautiful!

Very nice venue with many beautiful vistas. Unfortunately, urban sprawl has been encroaching on it for many years limiting its options. Years ago my wife and I attended an outdoor wedding here and the freeway noise was very distracting. However, the indoor venue options are still very very nice and should not be dismissed as weddings and other event options.

The staff were amazingly accommodating and easy to work with.

We absolutely LOVED working with the Water’s Edge team! Harper was our coordinator and was on top of everything (the day of we also had a couple other ladies helping Harper and apologize for not remembering their names but you know who you are!). From helping with last minute target runs, to even a putting my bouquet together last minute (lol) to set up (they literally took boxes of things and got EVERYTHING set up for us), to clean/pack up. They were always on top of everything. So thank you all of you ladies for making our day so perfect!

The venue being all inclusive and the planning process being already laid out was the best case scenario for us as we live out of state. From the food to the cake to the florals, to the DJ, they all killed it. Everything came together so beautifully and my husband and I had such an incredible night! I’d definitely recommend this venue or even looking into their sister venues with the same all inclusive set up. The venues we visited under this umbrella were all beautiful and had their own sort of feel/vibe so there’s lots to choose from depending on the style you’re looking for!

I was slightly disappointed with our wedding day experience. We began searching for venues two years before our wedding and eventually came across Watersedge. We loved the venue, and the lady we met with made it sound like a dream come true. She assured us they would provide catering, florals, linens, the bar, the DJ, as well as setup and teardown. Without hesitation, we said yes to the venue that day—it sounded too good to be true.

As we entered the wedding year, communication was excellent, and they were very helpful. However, one month before the wedding, communication almost completely stopped. It became nearly impossible to get responses from our wedding coordinator, who we had been in touch with for two years. At the wedding rehearsal, there was no guidance. A random coordinator, who was busy setting up for another wedding, looked at us and treated us like we didn’t belong there when we explained why we were there. There was no one assisting with the rehearsal—it was just me, the photographers we hired, and our wedding party trying to figure everything out on our own. Which we only had 1 hour to do.

On the wedding day, things got worse. We arrived to find a different wedding coordinator instead of the one we had been working with. This new coordinator seemed like she didn’t want to be there—she was rude and rushed us through the entire day. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one who noticed this. Additionally, the linens were incorrect. When we pointed this out, the coordinator initially tried to argue that it was our fault. However, after we pulled up the documents we had sent them, she admitted it was Watersedge’s mistake. Sadly, there was nothing they could do because they didn’t have the correct linens in stock.

Our original coordinator did email us the following week and offered a small refund, which we appreciated. Still, it didn’t fix the complications of the day. Another minor issue was the fireplace—it was never turned on. While not a major problem, we were supposed to have color options for it, and I think it would have added a beautiful touch. We had a vision for our day, and it’s disappointing when things don’t go as planned.

We also brought a light-up last name sign to display. I had tested all the pieces before bringing it in, so I knew everything was there. However, the coordinator claimed we were missing the adapter. I don’t believe this, especially since we’ve been unable to find the adapter anywhere in our cars or at home since the wedding—the only two places it could have been. Because of this, the sign wasn’t lit up.

Overall, the day felt disorganized, and the wedding coordinator was unhelpful. We didn’t even have our boutonnieres because no one told us where to find them.

On a positive note, the lake view, florals, food, cake, and DJ were all phenomenal. I would highly recommend those services to anyone. The DJ, in particular, was outstanding—he communicated more and provided more guidance during the ceremony and reception than the wedding coordinator. He truly made the day ten times better by ensuring everything ran smoothly.

That said, my biggest complaint was the coordinator’s attitude throughout the day. Her behavior was unprofessional and brought negative energy to what should have been a joyous occasion. Several guests noticed this as well. Her rushing and attitude even caused me to skip a first look with my dad, something I had been eager to do.

To sum up, I’m not saying I don’t recommend this venue—many things did go right, and it’s a beautiful place. However, I hope future couples experience better communication and professionalism from the coordinators, with fewer errors overall. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and couples deserve to have their special day go as they envisioned.

The WatersEdge team did a great job in working with Air Control Products, Inc. to host our 2024 Innovation EXPO. While hosting over 25 manufacturer tables, over 150 visitors and 4 training classes, everything was well coordinated and executed as planned. We had a great experience.

Last fall, Jean-Leigh Photography had the pleasure of capturing a wedding at this stunning venue, and I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review sooner! The experience was truly remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to create a magical day, ensuring that every detail was perfect and everyone was well cared for. Their support was invaluable, especially since it was our first time at the venue.

Despite the unfortunate rain on our couple’s big day, the team seamlessly transitioned to the indoor ceremony space, allowing the celebration to continue without missing a beat. The venue's variety of ceremony options was a huge asset, and the indoor setup was just as breathtaking as the outdoor one.

We were also captivated by the natural light that filled the space, complemented by beautiful water views and vibrant fall foliage. It was a photographer's dream! We absolutely loved our time working here and can’t wait for the opportunity to return.

Attended a tech conference here. Wayfinding was lacking, the multiple stage areas are far away from each other through a little underground tunnel-type hallway. Presenters had frequent AV challenges with the wifi not being robust enough to support needs. It looks like it's usually a wedding venue. Pleasant views.

We had a wonderful experience organizing our wedding at Lakeview. We looked at several of the highest rated all inclusive venues in the Columbus area and ultimately decided on Lakeview for the versatile indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces with a beautiful reception area. Lakeview has a cozy, rustic, and elegant setting, and this is one of the more affordable places for an all inclusive venue. The staff here all are professional, kind, and courteous. Alexa was our coordinator and she was simply outstanding. I couldn't have had a easier wedding day, and I am so grateful to all the staff at Lakeview for celebrating with us and making our day perfect. Please see my more detailed reviews on TheKnot and WeddingWire.

A wonderful venue with very friendly and professional staff!! Lakeview was one of the best venues we checked out in Columbus. It has an outdoor patio that guests really enjoyed. There’s a beautiful lake and greenery outside prepared mainly for ceremonies, but it was a great background for couple photos as well. The Lakeview ballroom was lovely and elegant with very warm vibes and great lighting, even with no extra decorations.

Coordinators were very supportive and professional. We worked with Madi and Nicole who showed us food and decor options and vendors for whatever they do not directly offer. They were both extremely patient and cooperative and planned everything to run so smoothly. They even were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and were able to source halal chicken. Day-of coordinator (Lynde - see picture) was the most helpful person ever that day and she was very approachable and communicated everything with everyone helping! She helped with everything as if she was a family member, even with decorations we brought from outside and with cleanup. The catering manager and bartender were also extremely polite and smiley and made our guests so comfortable. Everyone on set, as well as Madi and Nicole, made the day extra special and made sure it ran smoothly without any hiccups. Totally recommended!!

The professionalism and attitude of the venue manager was very horrid. My cousin just had his wedding there a few days ago and I have never felt more disrespected by this venue's manager/planner/owner, whomever she is! When my father and I arrived a half-hour early, we found the door locked as it started to pour rain and thunder and lightning. The rest of the family was already inside setting up and getting ready. This so-called venue manager or whomever was in charge finally saw us standing outside and opened the door and rudely asked with an attitude, "Are you family?"

What kind of a question, IS THAT? Also, why in the hell would you lock the outer doors of a wedding venue that is currently occupied? That is a fire hazard! Also, if you have posted business hours, you are not allowed to lock the doors, regardless of whether its by appointment only or not.

I was half expecting her to be a gracious hostess and say, "Hello, welcome, are you here for the wedding? Please come in." INSTEAD, before I can respond, she continues to say, "We don't let guests in before the start time, only family."

Of course I reply politely as I can that we are family. My father and I were the only two members of my aunt's side of the family attending this wedding. Everyone else that was attending was the bride's family members who came all the way from India, Canada and other parts of the world, and my Uncle's family members who were all local plus family friends. They only had 9 tables and not everyone even came. I'm actually very glad that my mother, who is wheelchair-bound, could not attend because this building is not ADA compliant by law. She wouldn't have been able to use the bathroom or enjoy the patios without someone helping her up and down.

When we got inside and greeted our family, I could clearly see that this wedding was not going to be starting right at 5:30. (I even had offered when we arrived to help put out the name cards for the tables on the guestbook table for them so they could focus on the food and the bar, and I was immediately dismissed with the rudest attitude from this manager.) They claimed it was because of the rain and that they were going to have the blessing outside and were trying to wait for it to pass, but by 5:30, they hadn't even bothered to open up the bar or put out hor d'oeuvres. They didn't even have coffee made, and we couldn't even get a soda, they just had water and tea ready. It wasn't until 6 or so that my cousin finally walked over to the bar, told the bartender he was the groom and wanted the bar opened because people were stuck standing around the staff scrambled to finish setting things up they should have been brought out at 5:25 PM. My cousin told me that because they didn't open the bar on time, they didn't use their money's worth of alcohol.

People were coming to this blessing/reception for an already married couple, expecting some sort of food for them to much on right away, and it wasn't served until nearly 7 PM. it was nearly 8 PM by the time I got my food. The salmon was so dry and overcooked and was cold because of their delay.

The staff was also rushing around trying to move things along once it got going. They brought out COLD PIZZA at 10 PM that should have been brought out way earlier. They didn't cut the cake until after everyone was done eating. It should have been cut up while everyone was being served their plated dinners.

As someone who has worked in the customer/food service/retail/restaurant industries for the last 20+ years, I WOULD NEVER EVER run my own business like this, treat my clients' guests horribly. I always LOVE it when I work and it's clear I'm struggling and my customers or regulars immediately ask to help.

I have never seen so much disorganization from a venue s

Venue is great, and service is wonderful. The team is thoughtful and detail-oriented and eager to bring your ideas to life with the parameters/budget you have set.

Riverside Bank of Dublin recently hosted our annual shareholder meeting at WatersEdge Event & Conference Center. We were so pleased with the event center, staff was helpful with setting up the AV equipment with us, food was delicious; the tomato soup and grilled cheese shooters are a must try!
