AJ was the one working the line, and the one who took my order. He gave me a sample of the vegan shawarma and the sun-dried tomato hummus as I was building my plate. Service was super-friendly, helpful, and informative. I loved the fries, tabouleh, Spanish eggplant, Persian potatoes, and Lebanese cauliflower. I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is fresh and great flavors, but all of the ingredients aren’t always available. The vegan options are plenty when they actually have the ingredients. The service is always poor, except when the owners are working ( I have only seen them on the weekend). The guy who works alone during the day is not friendly, always has a headphone in, and he makes me feel very rushed through the process. The fresh falafel is the only thing keeping...
I don't understand why there isn't a line out the door at this place. It's spotless; the food is fantastic, deliciously spiced, and generously portioned; and the service, especially by A.J., was impeccable. Loved every bite.
