We’ve been here several times and will be back again. The spicy chicken and mushrooms is a 12/10 good. Staff are exceptionally kind. I highly recommend giving this place a try - you won’t regret it!
FYI, as of 8/26/2025 (the time of this review), there is a 3.5% convenience charge added for credit card payments. I consider this standard practice in today’s world, but some customers may be unhappy about this. You can pay cash or debit with no surcharge 👍🏻

We love coming here and love every dish here. The presentation is always pretty. The food is so delicious and they are always so kind. They have the best baklava and their tiramisu with Turkish coffee was so unique and tasty. Love coming here and will be a forever customer.

Went here with a slight time restraint but plenty of time to eat the average meal. There were three other tables but we waited for over 30 minutes for our food and left before we got it.
Fantastic Mediterranean food. Also a friendly smile every time you walk in.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Olive Tree. The food was fresh, tasty, well seasoned and came in good portions. The service was attentive and the food was served in a timely manner. We also had a delightful conversation with the owner. Don’t miss this hidden gem.

Dinner tonight was delicious. Lamb shanks, falafel, cocktails. Consistently good.
So if anyone knows of any adults who want to work at this friendly restaurant, stop in or give them a call.
Lara ,the owner sure knows how to cook like a 5 star Michlen Chef.

The food here is solid but if you place a carry out order be prepared for them to be late, happens every time whether it’s busy or not. Also the owner always seems mad at you when speaking, not very friendly. I love to support local, small businesses but I end up leaving this place mad every time. Would not recommend. Olive and Thyme for better food and timely service.

Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious. We had a variety of eggplant dips and some stuffed veggie grape leaves, all wonderful. The fried cauliflower was devoured within a couple of minutes at the table and the falafel was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The two ladies working were so nice, helpful, and attentive. Wonderful find, can’t wait to go back!!

Visited the restaurant on a Sunday after reading reviews on google. This place missed the mark by a lot. The place was clean, little dated but clean. The people seemed very friendly and nice. The service and food is where it all fell apart. Even though our server was extremely nice and seemed pretty knowledgeable, the food came out at a very slow pace. When time came for entree dishes, we waited over an hr and half for things to start coming out. Granted we were a bigger group, but after waiting that long- not even all dishes came out back to back. We waited good 10-15 mins after to get everyone’s food, but one. That one didn’t come out until everyone was done eating and it was not even correct. They apologized for it and everything ( like I said the people seemed nice) Now if the food was mind blowing and fresh, we could have overlooked the service as a one off. But the food was extremely bland. An order off of their brunch menu ( Sujuk) had sausages that smelled stale. We were there to celebrate so we were not in the mood to fight over these things. However, when the bill came for over $240 and we were about to be done, they told us there will be a convenience fees on running the Credit Card!! If this was mentioned to us in the beginning we would probably not even had dined there. Debit or cash only - I had never come across a restaurant that charges a fee for using cc. Overall, a very disappointing experience here. There are so many decent cafes in the area, I was sorry to have chosen this place to spend a meal with my family.

Have been coming to Olive Tree for several years and have always had a good experience. The appetizers are delicious, the entrees are delicious, the baklava has always been great. Will continue to come here from time to time for lunch or dinner.

Food is great, but it was 1 hour and 15 minutes to get it and only 2 other couples in the restaurant.

You can tell there is a tremendous about of love and care that goes into this food. This place is underrated… wait times may not be expeditious but it didn’t matter. Ingredients, spices, flavors, this was some of the bed Mediterranean food I’ve ever tasted.
This was my first time here as a transplant, my wife, from Hilliard went to Darby, took me here because she grew up eating here and I was blown away.
The food was delicious and authentic, I love a good leafy tabbouleh, we also had grape leaves and I ordered the Mousakka, which was incredibly delicious - my wife’s chicken lemonata was great too.
No pics here foodies, you’ll just have to go and try for yourself.
