Fritz & Alfredo's has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant in NW Ohio & I went back for one last meal. Unfortunately as of 9/25/21 they are closing for good. So sad!

Because of lack of staff all food is only tacos & appetizers google didn't mention this restaurants last day was today also because of it. I wanted German food.

They are running on appetizers and tacos only, because they are short staffed. In fact Arturo is forced to close 8/25, because of it. But, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that there will be a new owner, and will reopen after upgrades to the interior and food in early November. Same margaritas.

Victim of Covid….only appetizers and drinks. Chips tasted like grocery store brand.

Absolutely amazing margaritas and food! Especially the super nachos on the deep fried tortilla chips. Their homemade margaritas are the best, I especially encourage getting the mango! And they have not lost touch with their famous red eyes!

I love this place. I love the environment. I think it doesn't get the love it deserves. This a community and we need to be together supporting our businesses! These are great people! Come in! Relax! Phenomenal margaritas!

I normally don't write negative reviews, but after our experience I thought it was important to share about our recent trip to Fritz & Alfredo. We walked in and it took a bit for us to get sat. No biggie, I was in food service and know how it can get. We sat down and I ordered a frozen margarita. She said she didn't know if she had peach. She came back with a frozen peach margarita, I felt like it was my lucky day! The margarita was thick like an italian ice so I politely asked to swap it out with an on the rocks. Our server said well that's what our frozen is, I said okay, I understand, however I cannot physically drink this, I would need a spoon. I was using the straw to show her what I meant. SHE GRABBED MY STRAW WITH HER BARE HANDS and started messing with my drink ?. She said I'll bring you a regular one and you can mix them together. I finally got really upset and said I do not want it. She then got an attitude, rolled her eyes, but replaced my drink for me. As we sat there, we noticed a pile of food on the floor under a different table, as well as dirty floor tiles and carpet that looked as if they had gone a bit of time without being cleaned (were talking days not hours). My husband and I quickly left after this. I can handle a lot of issues but I draw the line at critical health code violations, especially during a pandemic. If you decide to make a trip there, I hope it's a better experience for you, and I hope the management or owner sees this post and makes appropriate corrections.

Server was very friendly. Chips and salsa were obviously store bought. I got the burrito Supreme and it was pretty good. Overall solid

Stopped in with friends to try this place as I am New to the area. Gotta be honest the food was absolutely terrible. I really wanted to like it because it is so close to my house but it was really bad! Ordered some blanco queso for an app it was thick with large chunks of what appeared to be breakfast sausage in it. Our food came out rather quickly. I ordered the ground beef "super nachos" , eeek they were super disgusting! Everything seems to be processed and come from a can. The meat reminds me of the taco meet we use to get in elementary school lunches. Maybe that is appealing to some but it was horrible. The beans tasted canned as did the salsa. But what sent me over the edge was the fact that they use processed cheese on just about everything!! GROSS! I could tell immediately with one bite of the first nacho it was processed cheese. It was terrible. I asked the waitress ( who was kind and prompt) what kind of cheese was on my nachos and she said she thought it was American cheese. Who puts American cheese aka PROCESSED cheese on nachos?! NO! Just NO!! It's cheap I'm sure that's why, but it also tastes like crap!! I sent my meal back and declined anything else. My friend ate about 2 bites of her taco had the same nasty cheese and stopped eating. She didn't touch her Tostada. The quac tasted strange as well. not sure why, but it had a ton of crunchy onions. And I like onion, but that was way too much. My other friend had a chicken Chimichanga he said it was not good at all. None of us will be back for food! Maybe the drinks are good? Not sure but I probably won't return to find out! Very disappointing

I don't think I have ever wrote a yelp review but this just calls for it. We ordered $40.00 worth of , what is now garbage. Let me start by saying when fritz and alfredo's was in point place it was good. We went there often and I even threw parties there. Flash forward went to this one. Everything was junk. American cheese slices on the nachos. I ordered two enchiladas... not even edible it was covered in so much salty cheese sauce. I love cheese but not government issued cheese soup. My hubby ordered a bean burrito which equalled to one can of refried bean with a tortilla on top and cheese soup. I don't want a free meal for complaining because I never want to smell that food again. Also , of course, I cannot leave out the incredibly cliche but very real hair in my beans. Not long short , brown with a reddish tint and a bit of a wave to it. My fellow folks who do not complain often and possibly have worked in the restaurant biz so you don't cause to many waves when out. Hear me now , this was $40 for $10.00 junk in tin containers. Good day
