Took 2 small kids to IHop for their first time. They both got kids meal and ate everything!!! I ordered off their 55+ menu, BLT and onion rings

Place had no a/c, and it was real muggy, and the wife's burger was ok. The gravy on my chicken fried steak was clumpy and grainy, just horrible. I returned it and got a burger instead,it was ok. Didn't get charged for it, though. We don't think we'll be going back.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Keith being on his own the 2nd day did an amazing job. Could have a little in serving sizes but it's ok.

Some new menu items are great! I was surprised to see the Salmon on the menu... and the cook prepared it to my specifications - medium-rare.
It was delicious, a contender for salmon offered in high-profile restaurants!

What a joke... I ordered the tomato basil soup and the chopped salad. The soup was cold and the chicken on my salad was dry and hard as a rock. It took over an hour to get the food and it was only us and one other table. I will never go back and I'll be sure to let others know not to go waste their time or money!!!

Ordered take out about a month ago ( breakfast sampler) they messed up my order district or regional manager, Angie sent me a free entree and drink in the mail. I order again (today) horrible experience.
Arrived at 6:02 pm. When I walked in food was just coming up. Took about 2-3 mins for someone to even come up front to even acknowledge me. Restaurant wasn’t busy only about 4 tables at the time.
Manager IN STORE Angie took forever to comp my meal that was owed to me. Her and Ashley (the server) were trying to solve a very simple issue. ( an issue that a real manager should have had no problem solving in a matter of a a minute or 2).
Also, her and the customer at the table talking shit while she should’ve been doing her job. by the time I walked out it was 6:20pm. I could’ve order another meal in the time it took. While all she needed to simply do was comp a meal that should’ve take less than a minute. ( I’ve worked as a server and bartender for 6 ears so I know food service fairly well.)
Once I got in the car my food was already COLD because I spent 18 minutes inside ihop waiting for Angie’s to do her job.
In addition, Steak bites were ordered MEDIUM However, they made yet ANOTHER MISTAKE and they were WELL DONE.
I say all that to say:
While Angie should’ve made her owner some money (because I ordered more than just my FREE entree & drink.) unfortunately the owner of that franchise made $0 dollars on that transaction. All because she couldn’t do her job a simple matter of problem solving. With service and management like that, I can see why they’re going down hill. Keep it up, that place will be turning into a sheets gas station or car wash in no time! Lol
