8 of us walked in and we were told that they wouldn't serve us. We even tried to split us into 4 and 4 and they said no. Who turns down 8 people?? I would give it ZERO stars if it was possible.

I've been to Denny's all over Pennsylvania since 2007 trying to find a good one that was similar to the Denny's I used to eat at as a child growing up in Arizona. None of them have ever gotten close to my memories but just across state lines into Ohio is this wonder little town with an amazing Denny's which made me cry from all the wonderful memories that instantly flooded my mind as soon as I took a bite into my perfectly cooked juicy burger and perfectly golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside fries that were seasoned to perfection. I would like to thank all the cooks and the staff as well as our waitress Summer for the amazing experience and memories that I won't forget.

Our waiter Roger was great! Very personable and prompt. Food was also good. Place could have been a little cleaner but it was also after lunch.

*My fiancée dropped her chicken on the floor and they gave her another piece of. That was very kind so thank you!

If zero stars were allowed I would give it to this place. Asked for a booth was told no by host, sat at the table waited 10 minutes before Gayle even showed us attention but did move us to a booth which was nice and once in the booth server stated “you probably already know what you want” due to the long wait which she seemed aware of showing no urgency or being sorry of taking so long. Took our order never came to check on us until food came out which manager brought out and I said “can we get our check too so we aren’t forgotten about again” and manager did not knowledge that statement and just said “okay yeah” this is the worst service I’ve received in awhile, food was okay.

I don't eat at Denny's often....not sure why, maybe my experiences haven't brought me back....I have no complaints with the food. I'm a truck driver & I chose to take my 34 hr break at the Flying J in Hubbard, OH because I thought a hot meal from the Denny's sounded good. I go in around 830-ish pm & sit on the bench looking at the menu....for about 20-30 mins. As usual I'm more patient than I should be, I'm waiting for people to be seated because I'm not in a huge hurry.... waiting on my laundry. I hear them tell a guy that they are only taking to go orders because they are closing early (10pm) & the kitchen is backed up. Not long after hearing the previous, I go up to place my order...it's a little after 9pm. The lady tells me that they aren't taking any more orders. I say to her....you've seen me sitting here for 20-30 mins. (It isn't like I just walked in). You couldn't tell the kitchen, we have 1 more order & we'll be done? You couldn't tell me, you have to order now because we are closing the kitchen? I felt like it was very unkind & discourteous treatment. That just isn't the way to treat any other human being much less a customer who can choose where they spend their money. I'm not sure if this behavior is limited to Hubbard, OH because I feel like showing this kind of disrespect is a top down behavior.

GM won't ever get on the phone when you ask for him he has whoever answer always say he not available. The horn that seems to always answer has a real stuck up attitude. Sad this is the industry that's running bussiness and they wonder why they have bad reviews , negative comments and can't find no one to hire or short staffed because who would want to work with that.
