This might be Hubbard's best kept secret. Food is top notch and the portions will for sure fill you up! My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Bill the owner who made sure our first visit was a pleasant one. It is very rare these days you can eat a meal and feel like you are part of a family. The prices are not bad at all for the quality and service. Please support these great local businesses.
We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately, the restaurant wasn’t too busy as we were getting a late lunch, but had a number of families enjoying their meals. Most of us got burgers, and they were cooked perfectly to medium (so many places over-cook their burgers!), although a bit bland outside of the toppings so it seemed as though the meat hadn’t been seasoned. Good for an affordable price though. The onion rings are delicious, though not sure it’s worth the $2 upcharge...
I’ve eaten at the Eagle Grille & Tavern three times in the last two weeks. I’m visiting from out of town and it seemed like a nice place to eat. I truly liked the atmosphere and the service, food, and drinks were excellent. I happened to order a chicken salad today (5-14-2025 - 1:42pm) and I didn’t finish it so I took it home for dinner. I bit down on something extremely hard and I took it out of my mouth and realized it was the plastic end of a condiment container...
