Applebee's Grill + Bar

Got a to go order. Had to wait 30 extra minutes past quoted time. Paid for 2 sides of sour cream, and they put it in a random order instead of being on its own. Carside person acted like it was a major inconvenience to just get a new side and would rather i get it out of another person's order.

Wife and I went in for dinner. I wanted to order the trio entrée dish where you can choose your own things. I ordered part of it and the waitress continued to let me talk before interrupting me on my third choice to tell me that they were out of pretzels. Not sure why she let me continue talking, knowing that they were out of something on there, but whatever, strike one. then I ordered a sirloin with garlic shrimp on it mashed potatoes, and broccoli. my food comes back with mashed potatoes and green beans. I told the lady I did not order green beans and that I ordered broccoli and she said “we’re out.” Why was my side chosen for me when they know that’s not what I ordered? Why didn’t you come back to the table and tell
Me you were out instead of just bringing out what looked good to you? Strike two. Didn’t receive a single refill the entire time we were there. Don’t even ask if we wanted refills. Strike three, readers! You know that that means! Had to sit and listen to two boys well old enough to understand how to act properly in a restaurant act like they were trying to hack loogies on each other while their grandmothers or moms or whatever l, sat there carrying on a conversation the whole time letting their kids act that way, so that was really interesting. Not that this has anything to do with the restaurant… Worst service I’ve ever had at this place. Each time I go it’s just worse and worse. They are always out of something. Lost 2 customers tonight (not that you give a crap, but based on your review stars dwindling down, you may want start) stick to ANY food joint in Huber Heights over this place. Ide recommend the garbage behind Fazolis next door. I hear the service is better there.

Never have had a problem at any of the Applebee's we have dined at. This location had the worst service ever. The staff needs training on hospitality! We actually had to call the place from the hostess stand to be seated. The few servers on the floor totally ignored us. There were 3 in our party and 2 came in after. Waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came to seat. They were not busy. The whole staff must have been outside smoking. Then of course the hostess gave us huge attitude. She actually sat at a high top next to our table on her cell with her back to us, knocking her salt shaker onto our table. Our waitress was okay but also slow. Never going back to this location. This was in Dayton or Springfield? We met a relative there on our way home from Oklahoma.

My dad and I went on Thanksgiving after the servers husband had posted on a local group on facebook that it had just opened for service. We got there and Emma G. was the only server and she had immediately acknowledged us and told us she would be with us soon. We had seen all sections had been closed except for 1 small section with about 10-12 tables and they were mainly full so we were patient. We finally got sat and Emma was very friendly, efficient and even though she was visibly busy and probably tired she did a very good job. My dad and I both were very impressed with her effort and efficiency and she always made sure we were ok in our drinks. Once the food came out she checked in on more than one occasion and made sure drinks were full. Emma may have no felt like it but she did an excellent job on a busy night. Also we hope she really didn’t hurt her husband after we told her he had posted that the restaurant was open. Lol😂😂😂

Placed order for appetizers 40 minutes later still waiting grandkids meals came to table waited and additional 15 minutes appetizers arrived. Was told our meals would be out in a few minutes. Sauce for appetizers was hot the actual appetizers not so much.

Great food, great people over all a great experience. We had the grilled cheese cheeseburger it was just the right spicy and cheesy. And the prime rib dip sandwich. It had onions and mushrooms and a sweet spicy mayo kick and of course the mozzarella cheese sticks. The service here is awesome 💯 too.

Love the 2 for $25. Chicken Parmesan + Caesar salad is my favorite combo.

When we arrived it was not busy at all there might have been 8 or 10 people in the whole restaurant set at a table next to the window table was very sticky proceeded to order some salads some chips and spinach and artichoke dip which was very greasy also ordered some mozzarella sticks that were lukewarm in order to Santa Fe chicken with shrimp daughter ordered a 8 oz steak a half hour later the main course comes out burnt the waitress even knew it was burnt and even said something about it being burnt and still proceeded to put it on the table and said if you have any problems just holler at me go ahead try the food steak was disgustingly burnt Santa Fe Chicken was so freaking salty I couldn't hardly eat it I've never had Santa Fe chicken with onions and mushrooms did not end up eating the food sent the sake back for another the second one came back totally charred on the outside just horrible ended up not even eating just bagged up what food there was brought home for the dogs very disappointed
