Gyro Center in Huber Heights is a true gem! I’ve been visiting once a week since my first visit over four months ago, and every experience has been fantastic. The chicken shawarma wrap is simply the best I’ve ever had—the chicken is always juicy and seasoned to perfection, wrapped in fresh, soft pita with just the right amount of toppings. Every bite is full of incredible flavor!
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe, making each visit enjoyable. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mediterranean food, Gyro Center is a spot you can’t miss!

The food was amazing! I ordered the beef gyro, which was made to perfection. (A lamb gyro would be a welcomed addition!) The borek was simply amazing. To drink, Turkish tea. In this case, it was Ahmad’s Earl Grey, a tea I brew quite often. I would have liked to try Caykur tea, but that’s okay. Ahmad is great. Drank it from a somewhat traditional, tulip-shaped İnce Belli tea glass (‘somewhat’ because it had a handle). It’s a fun place to eat, drink tea (or Turkish coffee, if you like that sort of thing), talk, and laugh. Wonderful establishment.

THE MOST authentic, delicious Eastern/ Mediterranean food I've tasted in forever!!! I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE I KNOW about this very clean and quaint eatery!! I mean this place has the most flavorful food and the kindest service I've experienced in a long while. I absolutely love it and am NOT EVEN JOKING!!! IT DESERVES A BILLBOARD and will soon have lines out the door!! I didn't even consider takeout when I saw how immaculately clean this eatery is!! 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH!!!!

It was too expensive. I ordered a gyro platter. The picture on the menu showed it with fries. When ordering, the lady asked, "Would you like fries with that?"
Me: "It doesn't come with fries?"
Her: "No."
Me: "How much are the fries?"
Her: "$3.99"
Me: ?
The food itself was *fine* but not worth the price. As others have noted, the portions are not worth the price either. There was hardly any meat on my gyro, and I was still hungry after finishing it. I likely would not return.

This is the third time I’ve been here and they’ve completely changed their menu and the service was terrible. The first two times I came I loved the quality and portion of their meals. I ordered the same thing I ordered twice before, the chicken shawarma wrap, and the chicken was not same quality they used before and it was smaller. Honestly, the wrap just did not look appealing. My boyfriend ordered the chicken kebab and I can’t believe we paid almost $20 for what looked like half a small chicken breast, rice and veggies. My boyfriend was still hungry from his meal so he just ate my order. The sides on both of our meals were incorrect, and when I asked for the rice I ordered the woman stood awkwardly silent until I asked if I could have it and she was hesitate about bringing it to me. It was so awkward because she clearly rang up our sides wrong and she didn’t want to fix it. No one came to check on us during our meal. Our meal was served separately. It took so long to get our water. I wasn’t even given napkins. I watched the server literally sit on her phone behind the counter the whole time. I hope their portions, quality and customer service improves because we really loved this place until tonight.

Got the lamb kabobs. They were tough and tasteless, and pretty sure it was beef. Got a pile of bland white rice with it, and a small dipping sauce of some unknown whitish water down sauce.

Excellent meal made just right. Unbelievable flavor. Plenty to choose from and great service. Treat you like royalty. Huber’s best kept secret in Turkish dining. A tad more than some places but this is the real deal.
