3 people for dinner $410 , small portions , small menu choices and were out of 3 things we attempted to order. The service is very mediocre at best... Ambiance is noisy... Much of food was very good, but the entire experience doesn't justify the cost . I could go to many places and enjoy better service with more choices and the same quality of food for half the price... For this reason, after 3x dining at downtown 140 ... I've reached my limit with this place. Cost doesn't justify the experience at all.

Really awful that they continue to serve fois gras despite local community pushback; Ohioans don't want this. The way it's made is by violently force-feeding ducks / geese until their livers become diseased and swollen, they can't walk, and many die in agony before their livers can be harvested. That's why it's so expensive.

I was very impressed! This place exceeded all of my expectations! If I could give 6 stars I would! Even the value of the menu at this establishment was impressive! I was expecting to pay more! I HIGHLY recommend! Ambiance, service and menu were 6+ stars!

This is a place we go to celebrate small wins or anniversaries. We have had very good experiences here in the past, but lately it has been disappointing both in terms of food quality and service. We took our 4 year old daughter for her first white table cloth dinner here after holiday shopping in Hudson, and boy was it a poor kickoff for our holiday dining season. The first shocker came when I found out that the Market Priced Ribeye was 120 bucks (comes with fingerling potatoes) - mind you that their other menu item steak price is only around 40 bucks and the mediocre lamb chops that my wife ordered is 60 bucks. In any case, my daughter wanted steak so we ordered the ribeye to share and asked replace the fingerlings with fries. When the meal arrived - very late (about 45 min later with no apology ) it was OK - but only 45 dollars OK - no flavor or marbling. The check arrived with a surprise of a $14 upcharge for the french fry substitution for the fingerlings. When I asked the waitress and manager who may have been the owner they just said - sorry the kitchen does not do substitutions. It is going to be hard going back there especially when we had a way better experience and better cooked, better tasting and better priced Ribeye Moes in Cuyahoga falls the very next day!

Y’all we are sleeping on Downtown 140 in Hudson! We had the best meal there tonight. Oysters Rockefeller, escargot, brussels sprouts with bacon and blue cheese, fingerling potatoes, and lobster gratin. They also make the best espresso martinis I’ve had in all of Summit county. — at Downtown 140.

What a hidden gem! Everything about this place is delightful. Great service, an incredible menu, and neat atmosphere. Get the filet. I know it's expensive, but just trust me. Wow, I can still taste it a week later. I was in a business trip, and not sure when I'll be back in the area, but will make a beeline back when I can. Wow!

Unfortunately not a great experience. Food was sub par. My table was sticky and and after (very politely) asking it to be wiped down, I was met with strange aggression. The server smirked when she handed my food which concerned me as well. I unfortunately, cannot recommend this dining experience.

Great restaurant with menu items that aren’t on everyone else’s menu. Yes there is foie gras. If you don’t want to eat that, then don’t. This is America and we shouldn’t have ignorant protestors that are from out of state coming and harassing a small family restaurant. If you enjoy a good meal, then come here.
