Completing the drip drive, this is #14. See review before mine for the tea. Pun intended.

Me and my bff have been completing the drip drive. We had an iced macchiato and iced honey buzz and a chai molasses cookie. Everything was delicious. We dined in and everything was served in nice smoked glasses with sturdy paper straws. The decor was very antique and atmosphere was cutesy with an open air feel.

Yesterday I got a regular latte and it was great and out quickly! The man taking my order did talk heavy on religion and was a little off putting. Overall he made me feel a bit uncomfortable, however the people who made my coffee were very kind and welcoming!

Coffee was ok. The service was kinda arrogant. My father wanted chocolate syrup in his coffee. The guy said we'll do it this time but we generally won't do that and won't do it in the future. They don't want to mess with their recipe. Just left a bad taste with us. Will not be back. Whatever i ordered was average. I've had better drinks recently at Open Door coffee shop in Hudson and others in the surrounding areas.

Some of the best coffee around. It's also a great place to study and get work done. Highly Recommend!

Heartwood Roasters is a truly lovely place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's clearly a popular spot for people of all ages — during my visit, I noticed friends catching up over coffee, professionals holding meetings, and individuals relaxing with a good book. The space is thoughtfully designed with a variety of seating options: tables for dining, bar seating for quick stops, and cozy couches that make you want to linger.

I enjoyed a beautifully smooth Mexican pour-over and a fresh, flavorful caprese on sourdough — both were outstanding. The coffee was top quality, and the food felt carefully crafted, not just thrown together.

One (maybe silly) note for improvement: the trash bins in both the main area and the restroom were full. Granted, there was only an hour and a half before closing--I get putting off some of these sort of duties when you're getting so close to end of shift and are going to have to do it again anyway. However, it makes a big difference in my opinion. With what appeared to be a full staff on duty, I’d love to reap the benefits of perhaps more consistent trash checks for guest comfort. As someone who’s a bit of a germaphobe, I had to push the trash down to make room and made contact with the bin, which meant a second trip to wash my hands — not ideal. This is a small detail but one that makes a big difference.

That said, I really enjoyed my visit and would absolutely return. The community vibe is strong, the crowd is diverse, and the overall experience is warm and inviting. Great coffee, great food, great people — just a little housekeeping tweak and it'd be perfect.

Love the atmosphere inside and out. If you are staying to enjoy, you get a real glass/mug of coffee, and it’s delicious. *outdoor silver chairs are not comfy.

Good drinks and good service, BUT!
The quality of drinks varies deeply from day to day. My partner and I recently went three days in a row. The NOLA was terrible the first day, and then great the next two. I got a matcha that was stellar the first day, and then one that was bland (I could taste the milk more than the matcha) the next.
Additionally, charging over a dollar for plant based milk when you use a fancy cows milk is absurd. I really really really really doubt that the plant milks cost Heartwood more than that cows milk. More than irritating.

I did not get a drink here, but I did get the quinoa egg bowl and it was SO delicious. It also came with sourdough toast, and the portion size was so perfect for a lunch. The environment was also really great - we had a bible study here and although it was maybe a bit loud, it was really cute and a great place to study or meet with a friend. There's also outdoor seating, too. Staff was really friendly!
