Johnny's Diner has been on my list for a while but is a 30 minute drive for me so I finally stopped in for breakfast. It was worth the trip. The service was very good. They have specials on the board up front and the menu said to ask server for today's selection of homemade deserts. I am glad that I did ask as they had key lime pie. I rarely see it here in Ohio so I told me server that I would have that after my breakfast. The coffee was very good and was topped off several times. I am a big fan of house made corned beef hash and already knew that was my breakfast choice. It is called the Hudson Hash Skillet. It comes with homemade corned beef hash, 2 eggs, and their famous hash browns with a side of toast. I loved it. The corned beef was fresh and the hash browns were crispy as I like it. I have never had them served that way but I loved it. The rye toast was also good. The place had a nice 50's diner look to it. There was a decent crowd on a Saturday at noon so this place must be popular. I finished up with the key lime pie. It was delicious. I wish this was closer to me but I am rarely out in Hudson. I used to work in Hudson 20 years ago and this was a favorite lunch spot when it was the Deli On Rye. The next time I am nearby I will try lunch. I highly recommend Johnny's Diner.

Food was not great but filling. Some of the breakfast food was overcooked and the hash browns had an odd color. As far as my chicken and waffle I honestly did not expect chicken tenders on top of a waffle but it worked and it was still good. Are waitress was fantastic in the environment was great I love the 50s style decor.

I had the Buckeye Skillet this morning. It was ver good. The sausage gravy had a lot of Sausage and great flavor.
Took my family to Johnny’s Diner in Hudson for a late breakfast, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and fast. The atmosphere has that classic Americana diner vibe, with a nostalgic charm that makes you feel right at home.
I ordered the Greek omelette with a side of pancakes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals just as much—everyone left full and happy.
With drinks included, we paid about $20 per person, which felt like a great deal for the quality and experience. If you have the opportunity to stop by, definitely check it out. Johnny’s Diner is a local gem worth the visit.

The staff is so friendly and made this such an enjoyable time. Food was great, service was quick and even though we came in a little late, we never felt rushed. Definitely will be back!
Been there for breakfast and the food is always good and reasonable. And the staff is always very pleasant and friendly
Food is always bomb & great customer service
A lovely, quaint little something or other diner that fetishizes Americana circa the 50s. The food is good, but spending more than about an hour there will reveal that there's at least 3 people in the back who don't know what they're doing. Also I think they cut my onions too big.
Stopped in for the 1st time and ordered 3 simple breakfast meals.Service was slow and restaurant was not busy. The biggest disappointment was the $72 check for 3 mediocre breakfasts.Do not recommend this restaurant.
