Ohhhh you have to go! The service was fast and the server was kind. The food came out hot, fresh and tasted delicious. The portions were big. The owner came to the table to thank us and make sure everything came out right.

Everything is good about this place. The Ruben is really good... The home made 1000 Island sets it apart for sure

Got the texas toast french toast. It was just regular sliced toast, big let down. Everyone else's food looked pretty alright though.
Service was good, as expected.
Atmosphere was exactly what you'd want for a diner of this style

After riding a train for almost 2 days, waiting in the train station a total of 6 hours, I was ready for a good breakfast! I found this restaurant through Google! Not a big place, but plenty of room! I loved the 50's theme! The waitress was friendly, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. The food plentiful, and soooo good! We never felt rushed! This truly was the right choice and the best experience for a tired yet hungry customer! If you are in the area of Johnny's Dinner near Cleveland, Ohio, try this 50's theme restaurant and enjoy the best of everything!

Johnny's Diner has been on my list for a while but is a 30 minute drive for me so I finally stopped in for breakfast. It was worth the trip. The service was very good. They have specials on the board up front and the menu said to ask server for today's selection of homemade deserts. I am glad that I did ask as they had key lime pie. I rarely see it here in Ohio so I told me server that I would have that after my breakfast. The coffee was very good and was topped off several times. I am a big fan of house made corned beef hash and already knew that was my breakfast choice. It is called the Hudson Hash Skillet. It comes with homemade corned beef hash, 2 eggs, and their famous hash browns with a side of toast. I loved it. The corned beef was fresh and the hash browns were crispy as I like it. I have never had them served that way but I loved it. The rye toast was also good. The place had a nice 50's diner look to it. There was a decent crowd on a Saturday at noon so this place must be popular. I finished up with the key lime pie. It was delicious. I wish this was closer to me but I am rarely out in Hudson. I used to work in Hudson 20 years ago and this was a favorite lunch spot when it was the Deli On Rye. The next time I am nearby I will try lunch. I highly recommend Johnny's Diner.
