Friendliest place in NE Ohio to enjoy their awesome food. A must “go to” for not only visitors, but for Hudson (and surrounding communities) residents A++++++
Parking: Most of the time , parking is available right in front of the diner. ALL of the time, parking spaces available maybe 2 or 3 spaces away from front.

The service was ok the food not so much in my opinion you overcharge for the amount of food the omelet cost me 13.99 a side of English muffin 3 dollars the the breakfast was so small it fit on a 6 in plate the whole meal not worth the money I spent and sorry to say it was my first time and probably my last

Old school diner vibes ooze from this place. The checkered floor, striped booths, and retro decor really set the atmosphere at this location. We had a new server, and she was very welcoming and did a great job. The only issue we really had was the menu items we ordered. Big johns breakfast came with biscuits that were tough, and the gravy lacked in flavor. The rest of the order includes eggs, bacon, and pancakes, which were all fine. My daughter had the country fried steak, which again could have been better with flavorful gravy. Overall, it's fine and in a nice area.

Don't go here if in a hurry. They were more worried about a call in order, then us. She said that they called their order in a 8 in the morning. They figured out how to get lunch at lunchtime. Lol
Almost left, but hungry. Waitress was rude, then decided if she wanted a tip, she should apologize. Food was good but very pricy. $8 for a hot dog, plain.
Won't go back.

Johnny’s diner is a quaint spot. Retro theme with friendly service. Sometimes they have a car show out front.
The food isn’t anything special, but it is good. Worth trying out in the area.

This is a hidden gem. They have a great Reuben. The menu is pretty extensive for such a small place. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is 50's classic.

We stopped in with friends on our way to an art event in Hudson (we're from Geouga county and we were HUNGRY) and lunch was FANTASTIC. Staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is perfect, and the food was simply excellent. A must stop retro diner on your way through Hudson!

Really wanted to like this place as I love little 50s dinners. But the cabbage rolls that were to close to frozen stouffers. And the "homade" hash that was just canned mixed with extra hashbrowns. And unfortunately the smell of fryer grease sticks with you when you leave.. I will not be returning.

Cool atmosphere but food is eh.
I would give zero stars I could. We went today for breakfast and left extremely disappointed. This was our first time at Johnny's Diner. The first waitress brought us our drinks right away, another took our order. We waited as everyone around us got their food. The waitresses and who I'm guessing was the manager, walked passed us continuously serving others, without one time coming back to our table. After 45 minutes, we asked for the bill for our drinks and they looked at us dumbfounded and gathered in the corner to have a conversation before responding to us. The waitress who took our food order stated she didn't know where our ticket was. They were apologetic, but stated that we should have said something earlier. I replied it's not my job, considering the many times they walked past us after taking our order, and not even bothered to come to our table, not even to check if we needed refills the whole time we were there. They gave us our drinks for free. We left and went to Perkins and had a wonderful breakfast and our waitress was amazing.
