Just wondering why you keep getting rid of your good staff? Look at the tips they bring in and the money you make when they work. Not good when you come back because of them and you got rid of them. Not good business.
Not my favorite.... It's one of the few places open late in Hudson. That's pretty much the only redeeming quality this bar has. I avoid Kepners whenever possible.
EDIT: I'm adding a comment since Kepner's Tavern commented on this review.... let me be more specific: THIS BAR IS TRASHY. I happened to visit the night before Thanksgiving -- which has a tradition of hosting all Hudson High School graduates for a multi-class reunion of sorts. I understand that this yearly tradition brings out a rowdy crowd. I get it. Normally, Kepner's doesn't host as many underage bar guests who are falling down drunk, guys peeing in the sinks in the men's restroom, etc..... however, that's not the reason for my disliking of Kepner's. I have 2 reasons that I have disliked Kepner's over the years:
1. The clientele are the scum of Hudson.... yanno... like the trashy alcoholic types of individuals who get drunk at the bar every night. The clientele are gross, and it's a turn-off.
2. The bartenders are also trashy. The two young female bartenders in the main bar were doing shots and smoking weed vapes all night. Sure, their energy "matches" their clientele. And that's exactly why I don't like this place.
If I want to stay out late, I much prefer Brubaker's on Darrow Rd in Hudson. It's much more chill and classy. The bartenders are friendly yet professional. My friends enjoy their bourbon selection. And, Brubaker's doesn't seem to attract as many degenerate bar guests.
Just my two cents.

You shouldn’t expect to pay $100+ at a local dive bar for three burgers and a few drinks. But at $17 per burger, that’s what it is. Keps is a local staple in Hudson, but I won’t go there again to watch a game. Half the TVs don’t work, and the ones that do are on different platforms so one of them is 10-20sec ahead of the others, making watching a game impossible. Not sure what the issue with the bathroom is, but the men’s room smells like raw sewage. The food is decent, but not worth the money. Definitely a good place to have a beer or two, but pricey.

Service is extremely impressive. There's only two women working on Wednesday nights during karaoke and between the two of them they dominate the entire place with great attitude and amazing service. Highly recommended and the karaoke was fun too

Best vibe in that town. It was old with incredible character with a great outdoor area. Just felt bad that it must’ve been even better before all the new stuff built up, ruined the views and brought in a more yuppy crowd.
Several great iPad selections, food looked good but I didn't order anything. Interesting decor. Very friendly people.

Two Reubens and an order of boneless wings was $54.88. You've been warned.

Put simply, Kepner’s is Hudson’s dive bar. It’s an institution. If you’re looking to have a few drinks with friends or even just go out on your own, there really is no other game in town.
Kid-friendliness: Don’t bring your kids here. While they serve food, that’s really not what they’re focused on. It’s a bar first and foremost. The usual crowd is parents looking to get a night away from their kids, or young adults back in town for a holiday. Neither of those groups are looking to spend their evening around kids.

This place stinks! I attended keppners for my Grandpa’s 75th birthday and we both ordered cheeseburgers. The food took at least 50 minutes to arrive. Food was cold, they forgot to give us mustard, and we asked to speak to a manager. After 20 minutes of waiting for a manager, a man named Kevin came to our table, he claimed to be the boss but I’m not quite sure honeslty because he seemed to be… slow. He was unfriendly and didn’t even apologize to me and my grandpa for the inconvenience. My grandpa served in Vietnam and is beloved by his community and all I wanted to do was give him a great birthday that could possibly be one of his last. Manager Kevin is crass and disrespectful. We will not be returning anytime soon! Also, he has a wife and kids and apparently he’s banging one of the waitresses.

Called in a pick up order , what a disappointment this place is. I don’t mind spending the money , but if you’re going to up charge you should be serving quality food. All I got was a burger and boneless wings and fries with 6 chicken wings. Fries were the only thing that was good. Burger was not well done as I asked it was very pink. The boneless wings were hard and were horrible, and the chicken wings had barely any meat on them and tasted like they weren’t completely done. Couldn’t even eat them . I was charged 65.00 for this and it was worth maybe 20 dollars. Like I said I don’t mind spending the money., but for quality food. It’s sad that the restaurant industry has become a low quality industry. And they gave me only two sauces for all the chicken I got. This was definitely the first and the last time i will ever eat here. Do better please!
