We were passing through for a cup of coffee on the day of the solar eclipse. The place was bustling with locals and out of towners alike before they closed up shop early that day. Even through all of the craziness, the sweet lady at the register took our order and chatted with us, even answering questions(probably for the millionth time) about where a good spot would be to see the eclipse. Our coffees and pastries were delicious and the atmosphere was an all around fun vibe. The prices were great too. I'd love to stop back if we're ever in the area again! And the view of the eclipse was absolutely out of this world!!Parking: Plenty of free open parking spaces in front of the shops.

Great local coffee place with a mostly quiet and hip atmosphere. Coffee and drinks are incredible and served fast. Decor is unique and fun making it a great setting for coffee meetings or getting a little work done. Plenty of high tops with a few lounge chairs seats. Somewhat kid friendly, but proximity to Library and short drive to parks makes it nice regardless.

I was traveling though Hudson the other day and spotted this cozy looking coffee shop. So I parked and headed into the Open Door Coffee Company. I was very impressed with the decorations that adorned the walls. I made my way to the counter to place my order. The staff were polite & professional, taking my order & ensuring it was correct. I grabbed a table to sit & enjoy my coffee. I must say it was a very good cup of coffee. I also got a small hot chocolate & big chocolate chip as well. I noticed that this place is definitely popular, lots of customers getting to-go. I very much enjoyed the very calm and peaceful atmosphere, very easy to relax. I will most definitely return on a weekend for more coffee & cookies. I strongly recommend you give this place a try.

On a cold and windy day this little coffee shop was the perfect refuge! I had a house-made peanut butter cookie and a hot tea and relaxed in a comfy chair while soaking up the atmosphere.
The shop was bustling and no seats were available. With that apparent popularity and the amount of glowing reviews here, I had relatively high expectations of their coffee. They were not met. My cappuccino tasted off—a combination of burnt, stale beans and dirt. My friend, who had tea (Harney and Sons, a plus), and I did like their scones. I didn't want to make a fuss about the coffee because they were busy, but I will not return.
