So, I'm not one to often give very critical reviews, as I can find the positive in most businesses. However, I have some very mixed feelings about the Revival Room. I will keep this pretty simple: Pros: The food was pretty good. Our table shared some small plates (JoJos, Scotch Eggs, Cauliflower Tots), and I would say they were all pretty tasty. We also had a very kind and fun waiter (wish I had caught his name). Very Glaring Cons: A $26 Dirty Martini!!!! Yes, you read this correctly. A friend ordered a Belvedere martini with blue cheese olives, which of course there is always an up-charge for higher quality vodka and olives. Her bill was broken down as: $10.50 for the Belvedere, $9.45 for the "martini", and $1 for the olives (additional charges were tax and added gratuity...a whole other con). When we asked our very kind waiter if this was some kind of mistake as I lived in Chicago and never bought a $26 martini, he attempted to explain but there's not really a good explanation for this. This is truly unacceptable, as the neighboring bars/restaurants are charging no more than $15 for the same drink. Final Beware Moment: The menu mentioned that gratuity would be added for parties of 6+. However, I noticed that gratuity was already added for our table of five. So, definitely keep an eye out because that felt very sneaky. All-in-all, I can't say I will be back. This feels very quintessential "Hudson" trying to charge $26 for a martini. Truly insane.

Sick sewer smell. Absolutely disgusting. Who wants to sit in the sewer while they dine??

My friend and I were very excited to try this new place in Hudson, as dining options are rather limited. Drinks were definitely the best part of the experience. Their espresso martini was one of the best I've ever tasted! Rating: 10/10 Food was honestly so disappointing. The menu is on the smaller size but it's a rather odd assortment that doesn't really have a strong point of view. We ordered the pickled eggs, the duck confit flatbread, and the pork belly risotto. The eggs were good and would give them an 7/10 as they were unique and nothing I've ever had before. The duck confit flatbread was flat out terrible. We struggled to even eat one piece of it. The flavors just didn't work together and it tasted and looked like it came out of the freezer. I would rate this a 1/10. The pork belly risotto was also really not good at all. The pork belly was so fatty and we could only enjoy 2/5 of the pieces. The risotto underneath had absolutely no flavor. The presentation of the dish was nice but it was so bland. Would rate this 2/10. We did have a very kind waitress who we both enjoyed! Service was a 10/10. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was subpar. It's obvious they haven't done anything in terms of renovating or redecorating since it was previously Peach Tree. Rating would be a 5/10. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for anything more than some cocktails. In total, the bill was roughly $120, which is far too much for what you get. Super disappointing! One last thing to note is that I believe it's the same ownership as Oak and Embers, which I've never liked either.

We have been to The Revival Room twice for brunch on Sunday and both times the food and service were great! Loved the sausage gravy and masa biscuits and the cauliflower latkes and Turkey pastrami hash. Cocktail menu is interesting and creative - I enjoyed the Lavender "Earl" Palmer - made with Earl Grey infused vodka. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the ambience is a little dated and could be a nicer. Doesn't look like a lot was done since it was Peachtree Southern Kitchen. Maybe a new paint color would help? I would return and try their dinner menu.

Welcome to Hudson, Revival Room. You still have some kinks to work out especially when it comes to the drinks & the surprisingly extra charges that show up on the bill at the end. The location has always been a favorite, but will never not smell like sewer. Our groups experience was pretty good, hence all of the stars for my rating. However, you’re charging outrageous prices for your drinks that are only half the size compared to other restaurants right down the street & you are not being forthcoming about the add-on pricing for anything. A martini costs $8+, but beware of the additional price you’ll pay for ordering anything but their well liquor. My friends 5oz grey goose martini cost him $17.00!!! My friend wanted a dirty martini with blue cheese olives….they charged her $1 for a few splashes of olive juice. They charged us $2 for a side of ranch that we did not ask for. Oh & the biggest kicker….they ADD ON GRATUITY WITHOUT TELLING YOU & HIDE IT BEHIND THE 1st RECEIPT SO YOU DO NOT SEE IT!!! I’ve worked in one of downtown Hudson’s most popular restaurants for over 8 years, & as everyone knows we all like to talk to each other. There are some fabulous restaurants down here, and we all tend to keep it pretty humble & straightforward. I would look into how other places go about certain things & apply those practices to your business. You won’t last long thinking Hudson is full of a bunch of rich people who love expensive things & don’t care what they spend. Obviously we won’t be back, but good luck to ya!

Arrived @ 7pm on SAT 10/28. It was very busy but we were still greeted warmly then seated promptly. Server was also very nice and other staff helped and checked in with us while we were here for a few hours. Other tables came and went like clockwork. Our drinks were all stellar, my wife had one of the old fashioned drinks to which they have many, hers was the table favorite. Kitchen also looked very busy but we got our apps and enjoyed them. Overall this place is awesome. Great atmosphere with lots of charm. It’s small but the service and staff were all great and well trained. The kitchen and bar also kicked out some good items, while still keeping them fairly priced. Vote was-we will be back. Cheers Revival Room.

Came by on a Friday night - reservation recommended. We were seated right away, service was friendly, drinks were good! I had the espresso martini & lavender palmer, both were great cocktails and reasonably priced. Definitely a nice spot for a date or to catch up with old friends.

We were eager to support the new venture in this vintage building and enjoyed it. We had very good service and appetizers. My tastes don't run to cocktails, so was glad to see they also have other options.
