Regan was the best bartender I have ever met in my long long years spent on this earth. I was eating my sandwich during the recent Cleveland Browns game and experienced a life altering experience after choking on a piece of mac and cheese. Regan recognized the situation and leaped over top of the bar to administer a Heimlich maneuver and later cpr. Her actions single handedly saved my life and renewed my faith in the universe. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that she was present to save the life on an old grateful elderly woman.

After they changed the menu so much and got rid of the best things they made on the menu, it's just not the same anymore.

I miss the fried green beans!! I'd come in just for those 💔

The manager, Nicole, and staff were extremely helpful in planning our party. Our server, Marina, managed our guests in the party room with efficiency and courtesy. The food and beverages were great! We would highly recommend Hudson Brew Kettle for a party and for dining.

The service was efficient and cheerful. I ordered the bbq mac and cheese with burnt ends. The mac and cheese was just OK -- the cheese sauce was soupy (I had to ask for a spoon) and the burnt ends were few and far between. I can't in all honesty rate the food as any better than average...

Cheese steak was the worst I’ve ever had. Dry chunks of cold chewy meat with hard vegetables and a disgustingly thick sauce

I have to tell you the service here is awesome. It’s dog friendly as well. We ate here for a quick stop and everyone is just great. Keep it up guys!

Pan ultimate experience. You will not be disappointed. The wings and the poutine were phenomenal. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Recommended beers based on our comments.

Stopped into The Brew Kettle in Hudson the other night, The beer here? Fantastic. Fresh, smooth, and with enough variety that even my buddies who usually argue over light vs. dark walked out happy.

Food hit the spot too, but it was the atmosphere that sealed it. Laid-back, friendly staff, the kind of place where you can kick back, laugh too loud, and not feel out of place. Between the great brews and good company, it’s the kind of spot you find yourself coming back to again and again.

Went when they first opened and was not impressed. Thought we’d give it a second shot last night but I’m pretty sure that will be our last. Service was good, and the beer selection was great. The food, however, was awful. Wife had a wrap that was bland and I had the cheese steak sandwich. It was probably the worst sandwich I’ve ever eaten let alone a cheesesteak sandwich. Meat was over cooked and it had this gross pasty cheese sauce on top that ruined the entire sandwich. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cold and sterile and very bland. It’s very loud and echoes because there’s no fabric or tiles to absorb sound.

We’ve been going here for a while and feel that it has continually gone downhill. We went today and due to not great beer choices we left without ordering anything. Mind you, we went planning to order dinner and left buying nothing. While the bartender was “friendly” she showed no care that we were leaving. Will not likely go back.

The Brew Kettle is really good for the price. They have a mix of southern classics and standard bar food. The jalapeno cornbread is very good it is incredibly moist for corn bread. The cinnamon butter it comes with also adds a nice sweetness to it. The shrimp and grits are good. Are they the best I've had, no. But they are decent. I think the shrimp was well cooked. They were not hard or rubbery. The grits were also good. The sauce over these, though, is very heavily spiced. Most of the dishes' flavor does come from it. Now, the Cajun chicken pasta is where things go bad. The sauce is great. it's a very lightly spiced cream sauce. But the chicken in this dish is so dry. When you soak it in the sauce, it's not bad. But it's way overcooked. Another downside of this place is the service it is slow. It's not painfully long, but it does take a while to get your food. It took about 7 to 8 minutes for the cornbread to arrive and about an additional 25 to 30 after that for the rest. All of this came in at around $50 with 1 beer as part of that total amount. So it's reasonable for what it is. It's absolutely worth trying. Just avoid the chicken. Outside, there is a free parking lot, which is nice compared to other locations in the area.
