Went there for dinner last week. The restaurant wasn't very busy. Our food came out to quick. Seemed it was pre made and just warmed up. Chicken was very dry. We let our waitress know and all she said is i can go warm it up. Not sure if i wanted a $20 dish microwaved. Been here many times and was extremely disappointed. Not sure we will be back.

Absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish.
First of all, Alyssa deserves her own standing ovation. She is, without question, the best bartender. From the second you sit down, she makes you feel instantly welcomeāwarm, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. Her drinks are phenomenal (like, āIāll be thinking about this laterā good), perfectly made, and clearly crafted by someone who actually cares about what theyāre serving. She has such a friendly presence and somehow balances being attentive without ever hovering. Truly splendid in every sense of the word.
Then thereās Alison, who was an incredible server. She made sure every single need was met before we even had to ask, checked in just the right amount, and had the most amazing personality. Sheās so sweet, upbeat, and personable. She handled everything seamlessly and made the entire meal feel relaxed and enjoyable.
And finally, Chrisābecause not every restaurant can say thisāhelped me with my math homework. Yes, actually. Between bites, he stepped in and explained things clearly and patiently, and somehow made math less painful than usual. That level of kindness and willingness to help goes so far beyond what youād ever expect, and it honestly made my night.
Between the welcoming atmosphere, outstanding service, great drinks, and unexpected academic support, this place truly stands out. Itās the kind of restaurant you leave smiling, already planning your next visit. Could not recommend it more.

My first time dining at Tomato Grill, and it was amazing! The service was incredible. The red wine was delicious (bartender made such a great suggestion), the ravioli was the best I've ever tasted, and the pasta was so yummy. We will definitely be back! Perfect for a little date night :)
Food is very good ! They are always consistent with their quality. Friendly staff and moderately priced. 2 thumbs up !
Excellent food but service was a little slow. I think the night I was there they only had 1 server.
This is a great spot for dinner and drinks!

Dining on New Years Eve with a reservation we were acceptable to the fact that we had a short wait for a table to open for us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The menu was large with many choices to pick from. The food was delicious - from the artichoke appetizer to the chicken risotto and chicken piccata. I would recommend this restaurant!
It's been many years since we have been to the Tomato Grill and we were pretty disappointed. The food was not how we remembered. The chicken and the veal were both tough and the sauce needed salt and I don't salt my food.
Always good. I ordered lemon chicken and linguini and crab cakes. Brought home an order of corn chowder. Very good on this cold New Year's Day. My husband had veal parm. He loved led it. Ample portions for good eats today.
Restaurantji Recommends
Took my gf here for lunch. I got the Fettuccini with chicken, and she got the Chicken Wrap. They were absolutely delicious. Our server, Allison, was on top of everything. Very attentive and quick. My gf and I are thinking about coming here again for dinner. Truly, a gem in Hudson.

Itās giving āpreferential treatmentā if they know you. Here are some other things:
1. Chicken/veal you have to pay for sides (this isnāt a fancy place where it makes sense.)
2. If you wandered into a Zoup or Panera from 2004, itās decorated the same way.
3. Service is mid, honestly both times Iāve been here it feels like Iām being ignored because Iām not a rich old man/woman
Food is good, but for the price Iād expect better.

The shrimp dish with pesto and it was fabulous. So good I forgot to snap a Pic. It was gone before I even thought about it. There was a butternut squash soup that was tasty but was a lukewarm temp that had me wondering if I was supposed to have a cold soup vs a hot one. I asked for a small cup but got a very large portion. Great food. Great service. Will definitely return to this place when I am in town.

First time there, heard lots of great things. We made a reservation but had no table when we got there. Gold we would have to wait at least 20-30 min until someone left or sit in the bar. Luckily someone left soon and we were able to be seated 10 min into our reservation. Service left a lot to be desired, server wasn't around a lot and we had to ask others to find her for us when we needed something. Food overall was delicious though, huge portions we weren't expecting, easy to share a meal with another person.
