What an awesome place! The colors of the cottages gives you no choice but to be happy! The owner Joy is absolutely AWESOME! The Erie Kai had friendly bartenders and knowledge on cool places to see in the area! The beach is clean and welcoming!! We LOVED our time there and will definitely return!!

My every need was graciously met by my hostess who went above and beyond what I expected. The cabins were clean, in good repair and very comfortable. I'm 73 and woke up without a backache! Something that doesn't happen at home. This is my 5th stay at Firefly Beach. I will return. I almost feel like family.

Both of our stays at the cabins were great. The room was clean and beds were so comfortable. TV worked great. We are handicapped, so it was good to park so close to our cabin. And the sandy, private beach was beautiful, especially at sunset! I thank the staff for all the help, and we hope to return next summer.

Camping in a cabin! And Lake Erie with a private beach within sight of your campfire! Absolutely beautiful sunsets and pleasant “neighbors” makes this a repeat with guests! Bring your own bed linens and towels, a small fridge, microwave and wifi is provided. Thank you Becky and Molly for being wonderful hosts! We will be back!
Nearby activities: Lovely vacation destination with family. The lake at your feet, beautiful sunrise and sets before your eyes, quaint cabin life, and kiddos can run and play all day. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll be back!

Breathtaking view! The host, and guests Holly and Charity, were great from the moment we arrived! The place is beautiful, very well laid out and it felt safe. We plan to return to see more sunrises and sunsets. We should have come here first and skipped the motel the first night.
Safety: The feeling of being safe were instant.
Walkability: A short stroll down a grassy area and you are walking by the water in the sand. A short walk from here is a highly recommended steak house. The bar nearby was also in walking distance. It's a friendly community.

You never know what roof design you get here (unless you look at pictures).Rooms: The rooms are a decent size.Walkability: HUGE grass field in the middle of the park with a gravel road circling around. Awesome road to walk a few laps on.

We love Firefly beach!!! The view of the beach is beautiful!!! Our cabin was nice and clean and all the colors they painted on the inside and outside were amazing!!! The new owners added air conditioning which is nice to have after a long hot day at the beach!! The cabin was clean and we had one with a full kitchen and they provided plates cups silverware and pans which is cool because I always forget something we need lol we had so much fun and will definitely be going back again!!! Thank you firefly beach!!!

Very disappointed with this place. My niece came up from Florida for her birthday. Paid $600 for the weekend .Severe storms set everything back the first day ( noones fault couldnt go) .Everything got backed up for her visiting family. Her birthday consisted of 8 adults including her and her husband,her cousin and her brother . The owner called her up and started complaining too many people. Noone was disturbing anyone. My dog was off the leash just like the other dogs but they had a problem with my dog staying in our area playing with our kids. When I first got there I was thinking how cool it was . By the end of the day I'm gonna go out of my way to tell people this place and the owner are not worth it. I'll keep my $600 and go anywhere else . I camp all the time never experienced a nanny campground like this one. Not to mention cabins are nasty ,spiders and bugs everywhere. Look along the lakeshore there are so many better campgrounds this one sucks! The cottage was literally caving in.
